I juist want to let you know that I bought an USBC to Lightning cable and it worked!.. I have my old chats before on my old (IPhone SE) and my new chats (Jelly2). So now my chats are completed again on my IPhone SE. Next week my new IPhone!. I did not know that if I would have done it with my new iPhone I would have lost my old SE chats. First i didnt skipped the retrive back up from icloud on the iphone. secondly i made the transfer with low battery on the android phone and when the battery saver activated by itself the transfer stopped. After it faled everything was erased on the android, so i started using the iphone without the transfer. my question is if I want to try again do i have to activate whatsapp back on the android then download the drive back up and then active whatsapp back on the iphone?? and what do I do if i want to convined the old back up with the iphone messages??. It worked for me. But after logging in to wutsapper, it logged me out of my android device. Now in order to log in to iPhone, it needs a code from existing logged in device. So to get that code you need to again log in to android and then you can log in to iPhone. This was the only frustrating thing. Other than that it worked like a charm and transferred my 15 GB of data quickly. NO internet or laptop is required. Just two phone and a lightening to USB C cable and you are good to go !!! Recommended !!!
