I transferred a domain to namecheap with no problems but cannot get DDNS to work for UniFI or Synology. Edit: I got it to work for Synology, DSM 7.1, but still having issues with DSM 6. Edit again: got both DSM 7 & 6 to work, but both display failed even though they actually work. Now if Willie posts to show how to get UniFi to work, I'll be happy and transfer the rest of my domains.

Great video Willie! Did you do a zone export from Google Domains and then import to Namecheap or did you have to do it all manually?

No follow up? Still can't get UniFi to work with Name Cheap.

Fantastic video sir! I'd like to transfer about 15 domains from my current registrar to namecheap, but I have two of them tied to Google Enterprise accounts. It's not hosted on Google DNS nor are the hosting DNS servers on Google. This registrar is my DNS provider, so I currently use them as my DNS provider also. Will this process also transfer those DNS records as well as update all NS records properly, as to not interrupt receiving email for the process to complete. That's why I have been hesitant to move off this current provider.. That delay and such, and not getting an email because the MX record is hosed up briefly.

Willie! Thanks for the great video! looking forward to the Synology ddns video. From looking online, the way to get it set up varies from case to case and supposedly, the directions that namecheap gave aren't correct. Or at least they might be unclear.
