Man - getting my office fixed up was a SLOG. I'm not a naturally very organized person (obviously) and it really took a lot of effort to go through the organization steps ... BUT - now that I've done it, my desk has remained neat and organized, and I've been hugely more productive as a result. I'm SO glad I finally took the time to do this project.
I totally agree! It's been nearly a month now, and the really great thing about this approach is that it's *still* clean. Using the tubs system where everything has a place and all I have to do is have the discipline to put tubs away when I'm done with them... and my desk is still as clean as it was when I finished filming. I can't believe I went so many years of dealing with clutter everywhere... I should have done this many, many years ago. Thanks for watching!
Great video! Yes, please make a future video on hanging items on walls 😃 we have so many pictures and shelves just sitting around and we could use some pro tips
A hutch for your desk would be a lifesaver. think vertical as Ikea says. Since you have dead wall space there, that would increase storage, and keep things you use all the time for easy access.
Yep, remote work = messy work. I have a standing desk that I mounted three monitor mounts to (allowing open space under them) an underdesk cable management tray (with surge protector) and a underdesk wire drawer. All of that makes room for two laptops, coffee, my weather station display, keyboard and mouse. Oh, and a headphone hanger that clamps on to the side of the desk. I could use some Klipsch speakers though....
Absolutely fascinating, many thanks. You did a great job with the camera & and storytelling. I really enjoyed watching the placement & covering up of the cord & strip outlets.
I think we all struggle with our desk. I have an inexpensive smart Tv Conneted to RU-vid, several channels offer live and artificial sceneries for viewing. Go further hook up a camera for outdoor viewing. Nice job
