Wow, the more I learn! I did not know that some of my pleasure triggers literally triggered a bodily fight response in me, I have thought I was simply turned on/aroused. I have caught my hands start shaking when triggered and lost all control/reasoning. I have not understood why until now. Without some kind of breathing method, it seems impossible to break out of that state since we literally cant think/see straight in that state.

So I see this as triggers that are based in thoughts and feelings but what about visual triggers? Seeing an image or person that is triggering because they represent that thing that is found so appealing. Not making the connection to my sadness?

Great question. For visual triggers, we ask a different set of questions: 1. How does this appealing image make me feel? 2. When have I felt the exact opposite?
