If your destination is Central or Northern Luzon, try Clark International traffic is much better airport is new and modern, and less crowded than Manila. Great information Sir.

How do we book one of those flights with Filipinas dancing on the plane's wings?! :D Now, THAT would be in-flight entertainment! For a temporary stay, I like Grab (the S.E. Asia version of Uber) for Cebu City and Manila. The ride rates are predetermined (so no taking the long route), you can order food delivery, and I was able to link payment to come off my credit card (without fees) from the U.S.

Google voice works well too. I have a 480 area code number and I called my 82 year old mother on my computer and she couldn't believe how clear it was.

If there is one thing I would advise foreigners to do when they come to the Philippines to meet a girl for the 1st time....don't meet her family on that visit. Make sure she is aware of this before you meet. The time you spend together for the first time should be just the two of you with no added pressure. One thing you never see on RU-vid when it comes to LDR and the couple's 1st meeting is that it simply doesn't work out. You can get along just fine over the computer but the chemistry just isn't there when you meet or perhaps the attraction fades away after a couple of days. No one posts a RU-vid video of a LDR that doesn't work out but it does happen....a lot.

Great info but, I would bring to credit cards just in case. I did stay at a hotel in Subic bay and they took a credit card but, cash was 20 percent cheaper. @ Texas roadhouse i use my credit card.

About fav International Airport.... Immigration in the Cebu airport is a breeze and they don't have any issues that I've heard of about regarding theft that plagues the Manila airport. Salamat po. Helllo Rob i got google voice i heard it works in the phippines is that not the case. Also i saw tello offers an Esim so i'll always have my sim card with me without changing them out and possibly losing it just simply turn it on in setting. If i am changing phones you can tranfer over your Esim as well.

Google voice does not work for everything that's what I do not like. Also tello is only $5 a month with lowest plan that's $60 a year again thanks for talking about it

@@FlyMeToThePhilippines FYI, Using points to fly business class on korean air to get to Manila. Then points again to fly business class on philippine air to Japan frim Manila. Also have priority pass membership to get into terminal 1, PAGGS airport lounge to wine and dine before the flight. Another interesting thing about philippine air in terminal 2, if you purchase a comfort+ ticket, you gain access to philippine air lounge located near gate 10. Free food, beer, and wine.

1 € = 62.8 PHP also Sir is not too bad. All information are useful and verified during my twice there. Makati seems to me a clone of American style area.Always pleasur to watch your videos useful. About dating Filipina it's more complicated than you described. Many misunderstanding due to the culture and behaviors. First, they track all your mind to be sure that you will not go out of the track. One word, one sentence with a joke can create a distance or a U-Turn in the relation. Deal in a video about the Filipina grudge to prevent foreigner. Take care.

Hey David, "Closest?" You could stay in an Air B&B in Mactan Newtown... not sure of the Hotels there. That's on the same little island as the Airport. I would recommend staying at the Quest Hotel across the bridge in Cebu City IT Park. Best mall and all the conveniences right at your finger tips (walking across the street). Cebu is a great airport to fly into. Immigration in the Cebu airport is a breeze and they don't have any issues that I've heard of about regarding theft that plagues the Manila airport. Trust the trike drivers? Hahah......if that is what you're doing then you're paying 2-3x what you should be paying. Sure, it isn't a lot vs western money but it does add up over time and really, why get ripped off?

There was a video done by a Vlogger who is half Filipino and half American and he dressed up as a western Expat tourist in a suit and tie and a briefcase and went on five separate complicated tries and he took notice of the pricing the next day he retract traced his route, dressed in a basketball jersey and shorts and sandals, and obviously different trike drivers, but he was charged the exact same price dressed as a local Filipino to all five destinations so that’s where I drew the conclusion that driver is just don’t usually rip off people

@@FlyMeToThePhilippinesI've only been in PH for a year myself but I found that once I learned the prices the locals pay for a trip, the prices trikes quote are always significantly higher every time I go to use one. Even knowing the prices of a Filipino, trikes RARELY will agree to the same price for an obvious foreigner. One reason that the vlogger may have experienced something different is that, even dressed as a foreigner, they may have enough of an ambiguous/passing look that trike drivers think of them as being a local Filipino. Just a guess though.

For safety reasons here's my do not.... I don't fly on Philippine airlines or China airlines ever.. Manila is one of the worst airports in the world and the only one I missed the flight and it turned my return trip into 45 hours travel I was trashed..Makati is the only place I've nearly been mugged., I hate Manila ..u save time and money flying direct to Cebu

Thanks for sharing. I have flown Chinese airlines many times- found them quite good and reliable. PAL also. Will be in Makati and Manila again next week and personally (knock on wood) have never had a bad experience
