Christian Filipina is junk. They didn't spend any time verifying this girl's credentials. This makes the fourth or so nightmare story I've heard from people meeting on that site. What a shame.

My take-away Advice, Tips on Philippines: After watching this and other videos regarding law situation, level of scams and corruption in Philippines, and after consulting a couple of lawyers, I halted all my plans to move to PH. Now looking for another country. My plan was to bring investment for business and buy a house but found the law is skewed against foreigners. Foreigners are not equal in the eye of law as someone quoted the actual legal paragraph that says so. Guess, the government doesn't care to improve the lives of its citizens and thus, discourage foreign investment and business that could provide more job opportunities for the local Filipinos. Foolish and greedy always shoot in the foot...of their own. --------------------------- Detailed Version: All of country has a hot and humid temperature year round. Except three places like Baguio, Tagaytay and Malabalay, but you will have to face more traffic, higher prices, almost constant rain since they are mountainous. I struggled finding a good weather city but couldn't. Be prepared for high noise levels, dogs barking, rooster screaming, crowing, pollution, trash at streets, electricity black-outs, brown-outs, over-charging taxis, bribes, safety issues, crime level, mostly in southern provinces. There is no divorce law in Philippines yet. Annulment is lengthy and way difficult to get. New law bill in queue for divorce and child support. Nothing as of today, July 2024. The minimum age to marry or cohabit is 18 but only with parents consent until she turns 22. Between age 22-25, if parents don't consent, then apply for petition with govt. She cannot apply before age 22. Many filipinas tell many lies about their marital status, family, etc. If in doubt get a Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR) issued by the PSA (Phillipines Statistic Authority). It states that a person has not contracted any marriage. It is also called a certificate of No Record of Marriage or Certificate of Singleness. Ask her ID card if in doubt of age and name and Cenomar (no marriage certificate.) Take a picture. Verify if it's not fake. 1) Trust but verify! 2) Keep copies of all communications with your Filipina until you are legally married, and keep them for 7 years thereafter. 3) If it smells like a scam, treat it as such. Some play slow scamming by getting your trust first. Think and act properly. Alays have conversations about her expectations for her n her family. Set limits for meeting her relatives for her n yourself. About money expectations too. Never put her on pedestal. You are the prize, not her. Make it clear about your monthly income so that she doesn't expect more from you. No money or sex talk early in the dating phase. Ask her to be honest from the beginning like you are. Ask future plans, intentions. Meet family only if you are serious for long-term relationship. Don't make her pregnant if u r not serious to commit. Spend few months exploring the country. Meet several, not just one. Find a educated or sensible one. Be warned, some do change automatically against you when they come to the West and see woman has a upper hand in everything there. Take 6 to 12 months before put on a ring. Do not lend money that you cannot afford to lose. No Filipinas ever returns any money even if she earns more than you. Almost all Filipinas send money to their family. Extremely attached to their families. Just before marriage, a Prenuptial Agreement which is enforced in PH., is strongly advised and should be signed by the lawyers of both parties. Later, she cannot say that she didn't understand it. Prenup can include terms, e.g, any assets prior to marriage (or de-facto common law partnership, cohabitation) will continue to belong to the individual separately. Also, s/he shall get 15% of the assets, only if both lived exclusively together in normal cohabitation for 5 years, 30% if lived 10yrs, 50% after 15yr, 70% after 20yrs, and/or, the 100% after the unquestionable death of the spouse. Also, add, we will not be legally responsible to support financially to each other parents, etc. Still, No proper law (or no implementation, if any law at all) for the child support on fathers despite rampant number of single mothers with deadbeat fathers. The law implementation could reduce higher teenage pregnancies and poverty level but government seems uninterested. Not easy for a Filipina gf to win on a false parental claim or to prove fatherhood of a child. You can even sue a woman for adultery if child is not yours. DNA tests, doctor's certificate about impossibility of conception out of the monthly fertile window, or man's infertility, etc. But by law, you will have to support the child in marriage no matter who the father was. She can be in jail for adultery, though. Foreigner, on the other hand, if accused of crime (like a rape), can be held back officially only after the investigation and on court order, but only in Criminal cases, not in civil cases. Ask your lawyer if it's a criminal or civil case. Living as gf bf together cannot be sued unless she is proven a minor. In rare cases, she can file a civil court claim on assets, only, if cohabitation is proven existed for 5 years. She can claim only 50% share in assets acquired during 5 year cohabitation period. And, even then, not on assets he had "prior" to living together. This law works for both partners. Philippines doesn't have jurisdiction outside its land. Keep most stuff outside PH. Buy condo/ car before marriage/cohabitation. Better not to marry to a person before knowing them for at least 6 months. Law may not on be your side. Don't prevent her from a job otherwise she can file a criminal case under economic abuse law or domestic violence, in marriage or cohabitation. But she must provide proof, like job offer documentation/ witnesses for the coercion claim. Therefore, you should also keep a record of the times you encourage your Filipina to seek employment and her response to this. Arrest is not immediate or automatic unlike the West. This doesn't happen often, and never if a man is doing his duty. But make sure she is loyal and dutiful too, and she is a homemaker living happily without a need of a job. The land cannot be bought by foreigners in their own name. In your name, you can buy a car, a condo apt from 1st floor up (not the one on ground), or a house structure but not the land. Land must be in the name of a local citizen, Filipinos/Filipinas. Foreigners are "not" responsible to support their Filipina's family. Parents and children are both legally responsible to each other for basic necessities of life. Siblings are responsible to each other for education costs only. To open Filipinas' eyes, tell her (if she sends a lot of money to her parents/siblings, etc) : "You owe your parents nothing. You didn't ask to be born, so it's on them to build you up properly. Sure, pay them back if they were really good in their raising. You must put her husband first over your family, even the Bible says so. Sure, help them if they truly deserve it." Usually, it's the responsibility of a son to take care of their parents in old age, especially in Asia. Remember: "Entitlement to someone's labour is also known as slavery." I came to know that it's about 50% chance of landing into a blissful marriage with a nice Filipina. But given the ever-increasing level of scams, corruption and stupid laws or their abuse restrict those law-abiding foreigners who are gentleman, fair and peaceful. That leaves mostly other types of foreigners who don't care a damn thing and would flock to PH. Sadly, this will tarnish the image of Philippines in the world more, which may be not good overall later. OK, I know I mentioned negative aspects so far. Positive points are: Most people are polite, friendly, easy-going, laid-back, beautiful scenery, great waterfalls, lush greenery, gorgeous females, eastern wife-material, easy to strike conversation with. Overall cheaper cost of living compared to the West. Personally I'd forget about settling in PH despite my urge to find a lovely Filipina. Short trips OK though. For settlement, just too much hassle for an educated, active, middle-aged divorced gentleman from Canada. (Please correct any point if wrong but only when 100% legally sure.) (Sigma Man)

I know this is unusual but, I am a 68 year old ogre with a 32 year old Filipina gf. My beliefs have been shattered after a recent dicovery. I fell in love the first time I saw her. I managed to convince her to date. Treating her like an angel was easy. She is an angel. I thought I was negotiating a deal. I'm a Canadian businessman retired in PI. I thought this and all 30 plus differences in age were deals. Western money for beauty and youth. Simple. I didn't expect there was any way my 32 Filipina gf could be in love with me, but I am okay with our arrangement. I was pretty sure she loved me. I thought I was way too old for in love. Then I saw a text on her phone to her cousin telling her how she is in love with me. WTF? All my beliefs about these relationships blown up in 2 seconds. It's a paradigm shift in my beliefs. I'm in love with a partner who's in love with me. The wave of joy that went through me left me in tears. ❤ It can happen. 😮

I’m 62. Can’t have children. Dating a single mom would be fine with me. She would probably be more mature than a young Filipina. Less likely to play games. My ex was a divorced mom. Her daughter became my daughter. We are very close even after the divorce. Yes I would consider a relationship with a single mom.

Finally...someone who hit the nail on the head about dating American women. The 88% of men in America are survivable broke when they sincerely approach a potential mate for love...companionship. But the 88%...cross the PICKET LINE on the rest of the other 88%...literally shoot their wad of money...put the Amrican woman on a pedastool, only to find they are broke-er than before and walk away ...struck out...replaced by the next batter...the other 88%...who thinks he can make a base hit with a woman. Women get-off just by all the attention that the 88% give them. The population is decreasing because women have extended the time line of enjoying being admired and having this attention of the 88%...well into their late 30's. Having children has taken a Back Seat to the vainess of attention and being put on a Pedastool. You have to go where your treated BEST........

In the game of life resources are limited. Life is unfair. The purpose of life is the propagation of life as the counterpoint to universal entropy. A man who uses his resources to propagate another man's genome may not have any other choice in the matter. In the end, if he derives meaning from it, with his eyes wide open, then that is still a worthy life. Postscript: babalicious

My story! My girlfriend is pregnant and she deliver the baby around october.She dont want me in the hospital when this days comes.Very strange for me,a woman would be happy if the father is there right?She only wants me to pick me up in the airport after birth.I told her this situation is very strange and i think the real father will be there,and its not me.she told me if i dont support they can blacklist me and put me in jail.Is this so easy? How would you handle this? I said if you dont care about my decision and am not there on delivery she can handle everything alone and i keep my hands of everything.

Nothing wrong with dating a single mom it’s a package deal you care for the child as your own and in my opinion your wife or girlfriend must realize that in my opinion you have a child you need to understand the that the children come 1st in the relationship your wife is 2nd and as the man your needs and wants now become last in all situations your family is 1st all ways and you can’t accept that don’t be in a relationship with children and if our cant b a man don’t even hav a child of your own with your partner.

Yep, dated a single mom which was a big mistake. I put her on an allowance, and eventually she had me paying the whole family an allowance. It started off just little bits at a time, "my kid need new textbooks", "oh my sister needs a medical checkup", "oh my aunt's dog needs an x-ray", "oh my uncle's motorbike broke", and then eventually she was like "hey why don't you just set up a direct monthly deposit to their accounts so they don't have to bother you for help all the time" and stupidly I thought this was a good idea. Damn, I was running a whole payroll out there. Careful bros, these Filipinas can be extremely convincing. I won't make that mistake again.

Yeah, it's usually the foreigners' fault, not the Filipinas. They must choose better and establish some money rules early on the relationship. Men must lead in the relationship and put their feet down when things like this happen.
@JohnHarthomstowCEO
@JohnHarthomstowCEO Час назад
@@ChochiT0-ddd7fd Well, it takes two to tango, but the mistake the foreigners usually make is being desperate. I mean let's face it, most of us move to PH cos we have no success with women in the West. We are often starved of attention and getting it for a change will make a man lose rational thought. As such he will make some costly errors.

As always a superb interview from my favourite RU-vid channel. When I arrived in CDO I spent a few weeks feeling a little lost wondering around the malls most days, even then very rare to bump into another westerner and as much as I love my beautiful woman’s company I missed familiar conversation. Then by luck I bumped into a now good friend who recommended KL Clubhouse and I attended on a Friday afternoon. The guys present and since have been great and very welcoming. I honestly couldn’t recommend the KL high enough, such a lovely environment, the staff are brilliant and without a doubt the best food I’ve had in the Philippines! Good info. WOW! The volume jumped and blasted my ears at 7:29. The only scammer who got to me was the one who INSISTED on a nightly video chat. Once I figured her out, there was much evidence she didn't even live in the PH. Sadly, I think some group had a hold on her because when I figure out the scam, she became terrified of someone else in the room before the screen went black.

There are many reasons why this presents challenges. In no certain order, that man will not be placed first by that woman. She will most likely defend the BD’s rights when those worlds collide. In PI, their laws make it such that the bum BD can, at any time, come back and lay claim to all that you have build with that woman and child. Now, you have 2 heart breaks instead of 1 along with an empty wallet. Are their diamonds in the rough? Sure. But there are also diamonds in the open. Women don’t understand this because they are the ones being rescued, not the ones doing the rescuing. Choices have consequences. A woman has an absolute choice as to who she lets into her body. Choose wisely. Being careless with such a major choice has far reaching effects - ones that can last for generations.
