It’s such a phenomenal place and definitely lived up to its hype! We are glad you got to experience a little slice of it with us! We have at least one more video coming from there still
@@VeganVoyagers wonderful! We can't wait. And happy belated birthday Aaron! I hope you're doing well. (we worked together for a short period of time at MFA) 🙂
I am fulfilling my number one bucket list in seven days. I depart 12NOV with Out Adventures for a nine day tour to Quito and The Islands including seven nights on a cruise. I've dreamed of this for 50 years and now it's happening. My total spent so far is about 11K.
Omg, the giant turtles 🐢 are awesome! Totally National Geographic!! It brings back so many memories of our trip there. Can’t wait to see more of Galapagos 🥰
Giant turtles!!! Nice I would love to actually see them up close. It’s nice to know that you can do such a trip on a budget. Can’t wait to see more. Thanks again guys for another great video.
Unfortunately we didn’t end up getting enough content to put together a whole vegan food tour of the island. The menus we saw had some options but it’s definitely a fish heavy location. We pretty much consistently ate at Midori because they had the most options and the best! It’s definitely doable as a vegan
Maybe you could help answer this question. I'd certainly appreciate it if you could try. How do I make sure I will be able to enter the Galapagos without exceeding the tourist limitations? I keep reading that there are limits to the number of tourists in the Galapagos, but I see no place to find out whether I am going to exceed that limit. For example, how do I know that, once I get off the plane at Baltra or San Cristobal, I will not be told that I have to turn around because I am exceeding the number of tourists? I am traveling on my own, no guide.
Hello I have 2 questions besides the entrance fee, did you need it a medical travel insurance & a Transit control card? Also when returning to Mainland Ecuador did you need to do a covid test? Thanks
So we were already in Ecuador for a few weeks before flying to Galapagos. We think the rules for entering Ecuador just changed- so you'll have to check on that, but it usually includes a form you fill out with your vaccine info, etc. At the airport, we purchased the transit control card- $20/ pp. You do not need a covid test to enter Galapagos or return to mainland Ecuador- but you might need a vaccine (which we have).
Thank you, I have another question. Did you flew to Ecuador before February 11 or after. And when you flew to Ecuador from Panama did you showed a negative pcr test paper or email? Cause we are trying to get some of this questions answered but there’s a lack of info, plus when we call, emailed or chat nobody answers.
@@SaqueDeMetaPR @Hector Diaz So we flew from Panama to Ecuador on February 6th and needed to show a PCR test. However, pretty sure now you don't need one now and can just show your vaccine. We did not have a print out- the email was fine. We had to fill out the Ecuador Health Form online and it generated a QR code that was scanned at check in. We did not need a PCR test to enter or leave the Galapagos.
Thank you for every question you answered. Now my last question will be, where you have the information of the persons that pick you guys up when you got in Santa Cruz Island. Only saw that you said you paid $60.
