Question , I’m headed over the summer to the Vegas and I’m trying to see how I will manage to go without having to take my dragon. What do you recommend ?
Well this past summer and we’re doing it this summer again I traveled with my bearded dragon to Myrtle Beach and I took him with me, but since you’re not taking it there’s a couple things you could do. First I would highly recommend finding someone to watch it like a vet or someone you trust. If it is over a year and it’s an adult it might be OK for 2 to 3 days, but you will still need someone to check on it for it’s for a week. If it’s a baby since they need dubia roaches every day then you need somebody to check on them. We went to Florida last summer and we’re doing it again this summer and my grandma just watches Dorito. She just comes up to our house and watches him. So that’s something you can do. The person watching them will just have to feed them their greens and then if it’s an adult they need to feed it it’s dubia roaches like 2 to 3 times a week and if it’s a baby they need to feed them their usual amount. Also we have gone on weekend trips and we’ve left him for I think the most three days and he’s been totally fine. I would just say if it’s longer than five days that you need to have someone watch it.
