How to Treat Beech Leaf Disease 

@@MS-ws3ss combination foliar spray and soil drench is probably best of both worlds given the little known so far for treating this. The recommendation is 2 applications of phosphite/fosphite. The soluble potash is a generally good tree fertilizer especially if soil is low potassium. I wanted to use it but not too high on potassium since it's in both products.

(next year I may just do both applications with the fosphite only)

Thanks for the reply! If I start with soluble potash tomorrow, do you think waiting only 3 weeks before I do the fosphite is sufficient? It's already mid summer so just wanted to have enough time for two treatments this year... I have 3 pretty sick beech trees :(

@@MS-ws3ss probably fine with plenty of watering. Later it gets in the season, then more stress with applying fertilizers. You might want to get a soil test kit, the one that does ph, n, p, k. Just so you don't add too much potassium.
