Excellent tutorial.

I don’t yet use the ball/polisher bit for every service, as I am still new and trying to cut down time for most of my processes. But I do use it for those clients who have VERY dry and overly picked-at cuticles (one specifically told me she has dermatillomania) and after ONE SERVICE her cuticle area, and the area around her nail plate looked 75% better, he’s.their, less damaged. I was impressed, as was the client. I think using the polisher helps so much because it rids the skin of those tiny little bits that certain clients (and myself) just can’t help but pick at. I don’t actually ever using nippers or scissors on these clients.

Great info. Just noticed she may have some clubbing in her fingertips??? Could be because of my view from this video, but pls look into checking it out. Clubbed fingers is a symptom of disease, often of the heart or lungs which cause chronically low blood levels of oxygen. Diseases which cause malabsorption, such as cystic fibrosis or celiac disease can also cause clubbing. Clubbing may result from chronic low blood-oxygen levels.

I always push them back first personally and then use a bit to help lift the rest away.
