Is it possible to "unarm" a midi track when it is being played with an external sequencer? I want to record the performance on M+ pads and keep some tracks sequenced with an external sequencer. What happens now is that the midi notes from the external sequencer also get recorded when I want to record the performance on the pads.
Hi Mike! The steps are very similar with the MASCHINE MK3. Make sure that MASCHINE 2 is set up to receive incoming MIDI in the Preferences, and then assign the MIDI channel of the Sound you want to control to the same as your external keyboard or sequencer. If your device is connected via USB to your computer, just make sure it is also activated in the MASCHINE 2 preferences and the rest of the steps are the same as above. Cheers!
Hello Pablo! That is indeed possible, as the MASCHINE+ has two USB-A ports on the back. So you could connect two MIDI devices or one MIDI device and one audio interface, for example.
