I have Taylor and love it. I don't have any where near my hair shade and the colors just blend. I am 69 years old and dared to try bangs again after cancer surgery. The bangs needed a tad of a trim, but they cover the large scar between my eyes.

Dear Rebecca, I understand. The most important part of getting any top piece right is where you clip it in. Especially mixing with your hair. Just take your time. Try pulling a touch of your own hair out at the bangs (just a little) to mix in, then clip first right at your hair line. Play with that. Then, try clipping it just barely a touch further back and try it again. Keep clipping just a touch further back and playing w your hair - you'll find the "sweet" spot and then you'll feel good! We do not like rooted grey wigs, since it's more of a fashion statement. Grey wigs without dark roots look most realistic, but you can try some brown eye shadow to be roots, see how that goes. We are working on a video showing how to do this... xoxo Ro

I like any that have the smallest spaces in between. The bigger the spaces, the more hair will be removed. Better to thin slowly, at least that's a way I can control the style I'm creating. Hi Sandi, we do offer trimming tutorials and it doesn't matter whether it's a wig or top piece. The easiest way it to take the piece to a hairdresser to have them trim it, or maybe you have a friend who cuts hair. The bottom line is it is easy to do, but many new clients, understandably, are hesitant to trim. Please check out our videos for "How To Trim A Wig" for more info as well. Thanks, Ro

My goodness Blah, what a dead-end response she gave you! Sounds like she wanted to shut down a new possibility for you! Here's why some hair dressers say NO to anything having to do with a wig: Some believe that if you have a wig and you love it, you'll stop going to them! They don't realize that we all still want hair cuts, colors and blow outs on our own hair. Their thinking is more "either/or" - either you'll go to her (no wig), or you'll never go to her(own a wig). She is missing accepting you no matter what you want - and bringing in additional income! Just like a new wig wearer needs to learn about wigs (like any new hobby) it could help the hair dresser to embrace whatever a client wants to make that woman's life easier; whatever it takes! The other possibility is she isn't confident to trim something that won't grow back and she feels that way about every hair dresser she knows. In this case, I would appreciate her honesty and hesitation and I'd do some research to find hairdressers in your area who are confident to work on your hair AND your wigs - or a wig specialist! My personal preferences don't matter, I was making a suggestion for all the women out there that do not want to look sloppy. Surely your wigs can be fixed to present a neat appearance, you should do some that way sometimes. Every video that I see the hair is chaotic, sticking out, uncombed, unfinished. OK, on Sat. morning we don't mind looking like a hot mess, but some of us don't want to look like that in our daily lives. Thanks for responding.

@@starrlight2367 I understand what you’re requesting. My hair is very straight and wouldn’t hold a wave or curl- and so there’s no way I can get away with a messy do. I too would love to see Rochelles creativity applied to smooth and straight styles, combined with toppers.
