Great work and vid. I am wondering why they make wallpaper that involves this trimming hassle? I noticed that the wallpaper overlaps on the piece even after trimming.
It originally had to do with shipping. If the paper made out of nice materials has factory trimmed edges and is thrown in a box or dropped, you can ruin an entire roll by crushing the edge. (It happens with foil all the time) Also, there is a bit of spill over from the fabric and upholstery industry where it’s normal to leave extra material on the edges.
Could you please write what's the booking time for the Scalamandre Zebra.. I'm using Roman 880 paste on croslined walls and have horrible creases that won't go away. Best regards.
Hi I'm having a problem hanging this paper What kind a paste are you using ? Did you use a liner paper on the wall before wallpaper? Is this paper a prepasted?
You can see on his bucket he’s using Dynamite 234. With really high quality papers you ideally want to always use liner paper, but some clients and designers are cheap and don’t like to listen to the experts. And last but not least no Scallamandre and most hand trimmed papers aren’t prepasted.
