Would you recommend us going to the barbershop for a trim or a salon?? Also if we can only go to the barbershop what should we tell our barber personally on how to trim our hair?

From my experience I wouldn’t recommend here’s why - barbers be picking your hair like you did something to them - barbers don’t condition, moisturize, or detangle your hair. - some not all barbers, are focused on the style and May cut off more or less hair than needed.

Im surprized u didnt cut it all off and restart the growth journey because the best feeling in the world as a guy is to get a fresh cut after a long 2 years because we are men its natural to have short hair and getting a fresh cut rejuvinated us unlike woman and u will feel more free if youre not growing dreads im telling you u should cut it all of with a fresh fade u will feel much better and more manly and sppreciate the hair journey more if u want to regrow it never be afraid of change my brudda

Short hair doesn't equal manly. It's not "natural" for men to have short hair. Common, yes. But not "natural"

@@ruki_okorodudu i have a short afro now after i cut my dreads 4 months ago after 3 years of growing it long and i must say I felt far more manly when I got that Cesar with a taper then i did with my longer hair up because long hair takes much more time to maintain before and after bed,stimulating scalp with oil,deep conditioner all things women do to maintain there hair as its required for them but not for men as we can be bald abd still look good my point is hair for men gets boring an it's refreshing to cut it low with a taper after growing for a long time and it takes alot more stress of you when your hair is lower and its easier to maintain with less product but u wouldn't know because you think u need to have long hair forever as a man witch is your view but u cannot speak from my point of view until u cut and regrow every 1 or 2 years.

@@TechnoRap64 just because you felt more manly doesn't mean everyy guy will feel more manly. Your experience with hair as a man is not the definitive for all men. I feel just as manly with long hair and a hair care routine as I did with short hair. I'm tired of that old school mindset that men who have good hygiene practices are feminine or gay, especially with black men. Just because a guy has long hair with a routine, *or* has a face routine, *or* a nail care routine, etc, doesn't make them less of a man, gay, or feminine.

@@TechnoRap64 also, you don't know what I think. never did I say that you need to have long hair as a man. I used to cut my hair every year and "restart" my growth until covid and I was forced to let my hair grow. Now I enjoy having hair long. You cannot speak from my point of view until you have grown out your hair with no intentions of cutting

@@ruki_okorodudu you probably don't know this but the products you are using on your hair is moat likely designed and advertizef for women and when u use overtime these products go through your pours and change your hormones.when the last time u seen deep conditioner adviterized for a man on TV or magazine?u haven't because it is feminine when a man is as more concerned with his hair as a woman is especially when u stsrt wearing bonets at night and detailing hair for breakage,moat men are more worried about putting food on the table because long hair for a man serves no purpose while it is a symbol of beauty for women.just face facts that long hair was always a women thing,it's just men are now doing the sane steps so it shouldn't be a surprized it's deemed feminine at all.
