Tube came out of my mother last week and a nurse practitioner in ER placed a new one. She didn't seem to inflate the inside part, and my father kept asking her about it and she says she did. Long story short it came out on its own in 2 days and we spent the next 12 hours in the ER overnight until the GI department opened. Apparently there were no more tubes in the whole hospital.
My brother is having issues with leaking, he is losing more than 1/2 of his nutrition. No one seems to be able to tell him what the problem maybe. He’s had a feeding tube for 8 years and has never had this issue.
