THANK YOU!!! This happens constantly! Our TV is all wired through the wall, and hard to tell what to unplug! Holding the remote button for 10 seconds works! You are a sanity saver!!! Thank you!! 😊
Do not buy this TV, i'm running the latest software and my wifi keeps turning off once a week and i have to unplug the tv to turn it back on. Sony support is useless. its almost as if they dont test the TV before shipping it
same problem, I fixed it by getting a $50 firestick. I paid over $3000 for my TV to have goggle biult in for all the apps I like to run, what a waste of money.
There is also a known defect with Sony TVs where the time and date stops it connecting. Think it needs to be set to Internet based time or network time before it will connect to WiFi. I seem to remember even if it's a second out, it fails. I'm pretty disappointed in the software on these TVs. Nor can this version of android support most the apps you would want a TV to support, such as most CCTV apps.
Hi Nick, thank you for reaching out. We would like to highlight that the WIFI issue where you had to set the TV automatic date and time to be on ''Use network time'' has been already resolved in one of out latest software updates, and regarding the CCTV and other applications. Sadly the availability of such apps is related to the owner/developed of such apps. As long as they allow them to be published on the app store that's built in the TV, you should be able to download and use them, if they're not available on the app store, there's nothing we can do from our end sadly. ^Sawy

Hi Jack, could you provide us with the model number of your TV so that we can help? Also, does it connect, but the signal is weak? Or the TV doesn't connect at all? Kindly elaborate more on the issue, providing the maximum details. ^Hanan
Unfortunetaly the issue persists for my TV even after the factory reset. The router working and there aren‘t any other devices interfering. I love this Sony TV but that part is really annoying.
Hi Nico, we're sorry to hear this. Could you provide us with the model number of your device and more details about the issue so that we can help? ^Hanan
My internet on the TV after 6 months got very slow and spoty. I was told that the wifi neede to be refreshed or reset. There are no settings to do this other then reseting the whole TV and losing all the apps I down loaded. So I just went out and bought a fire stick, works much better now, very disappointed with goggle on Sony (main reason I bought the TV) I should of just bought a cheaper TV and a $50 firestick as it is working much better.

@@SonyEuro XR-55A84J. It’ll work and then I’ll turn it on the next day and it can’t connect to WiFi because it says WiFi is disabled. I’ll then need to use my PS5 to use streaming services until my TV decides to connect to Wi-Fi again. My wifi works on every other device. Very frustrating after paying all that money.
Hi Connor, try the below steps: -Unplug the TV from the mains for two minutes and restart your router. -Make sure your TV is up-to-date: bit.ly/3srDX9I -Perform a factory data reset: bit.ly/34yUkYZ -Monitor the TV for two days, let us know if that works. ^Hanan
Such a stupid tv, please don’t buy it, I can’t believe I’m living 2022, spending 4 k on a tv that couldn’t even context to Wi-Fi . Turns off, automatically. My switch works even better
