When I tried to talk to my mom about my sexual abuse from my brother (who later committed suicide), she blamed me for breaking up the family. I tried later to tell her how much that hurt, and she shouted, "Stop talking!" I knew at that point that I couldn't have my parents in my life. I call her once in a while, but I cut the emotional ties. I know I'm healing because I was a severe skin-picker (excoriation disorder) for 35 years, diagnosed with OCD for that. It just fell away one day, no kidding. I don't know how OCD just suddenly stops. Before that I had done hard-core counseling about all members of my family, energy work, and had a couple of brutal kundalini awakenings. Life has been getting better, slowly.

Welcome fellow light worker. My brother did the same to me. I wish he’d cross himself over, but he’s so utterly oblivious and in complete denial he won’t. Boy will his crossing be a bitch though! It’s made for a hell of a healing journey that’s including a brutal Kundalini awakening for the past 5+ years (getting better though). The day all attachment to our relationship suddenly dissolved I was set free. And this was a few years after all the rage I carried had dissolved (working with a wonderful hypnotherapist). I couldn’t really begin to heal until both my parents were dead.

You are the only you 🫶 Im happy that you know your worth now & continue to heal. I also had my OCD just disappear, it happened after I cut ties with my sister (I still have work to do because it was hard for me to type the words ‘my sister’ dangit LoL) But I do know why-shes never apologized or even talked about all she put me through since my very 1st memory & im 49 now. Yet she claims to be a Lightworker while being judgmental to all around her. I’m not sure I would have figured that out had I not replied to your comment💛 This was supposed to be a comment about how my ocd went away also. Now I know I need to go write or type & let it flow on paper so I can continue to heal🙏 This is why I’ve been watching/listening to Christina Lopes for years. Thank you so much. I released my parents from childhood sexual abuse. I moved away to live by the sea, not to run away but to feed my soul and heal. I initially felt guilty for putting that distance but I don't anymore. I'm beginning to finally heal at age 58.

My best friend and I always knew we were from the same soul-family. She said;" You are my sister and I am your sister. You don´t belong to your evil family, you belong to me, and I love You, I know You, I accept You" I love her for this, it helped me when I had a hard time coping and could not love my birth family.

I stopped talking to my mother for almost 2 yrs because she was putting me down. She had never treated me like that in my life. All the way up to my 30's, I was like her golden child, it wasn't until she disapproved of my parenting skills that her actions changed towards me. I was a working single mother, maybe that's it, it was my divorce and I was diagnosed with a few things, she started to call me crazy, and instead of understanding I needed rest and healing, she was resentful that I slept a lot, after a very stressful marriage. Instead of taking my side, she believed what my daughter said about me, I was a single working mother and she wanted me to parent the way my mother patented us, but I couldn't because mom was always home and disabled but I had to work full time. Working 16 hrs a day sometimes to afford Xmas and clothing or what have you. She would call me lazy for sleeping after work, I worked 3rd shift and sometimes 1st shift too. Or she would say I was a bad mother because of the way I did things because I worked. And I use to shop for her and clean her house because she was sick and nothing I did was good enough, after staying away from her for almost 2 yrs she did treat me better.

I deeply thank you and the woman who asked the question. This message has helped me greatly. I’m still angry that my parents didn’t provide a safe environment for me to grow up in. My mother still likes to believe that I had an ideal childhood. I’m sure that she has her own childhood trauma.

Loads of love to all who have gone through trauma in their lives. 💜 It is really tough to go through the healing process, yet it's worth it. An analogy of 'youngling of any bird coming out of an egg' could be given to understand healing one's wounds. May all empaths and highly sensitive people achieve their well-deserved healing, so they can rejoice and help/inspire others to heal. ☺🙏🏼

Things I learned from this Vd Don't run away from anything that triggers you. Triggers are best friends.They give u the opportunity to heal the inner wounds. Connect with the feminine. Feel the emotions and release them. Feminine is the healer. Boundaries are sacred. We should have healthy boundaries with people even after we heal. Lightworkers intentionally choose difficult childhoods because they r so powerful and they want to stop generational traumas and wounds and repetitive toxic patterns

I refer to my traumatic childhood as BootCamp. My mother was the drill sergeant. My wounds introduced me to loving people. The treasure of the 2nd half of life has been breathtaking. I divorced my family. Thank you, Christina. I still have haunting memories but I'm able to say "no" and they leave me alone.

I finally decided it was time to go no contact with my mother. I like the term divorced. I am 44 years old and am now starting to realize I can begin my life. MY LIFE. I am a daughter of a narcissistic mother who was a "covert" manipulator and a narcissistic step-father who sexually molested me throughout my childhood. I mentioned it to her a few times, and finally when I was 18, she stated "I stayed because I needed someone to provide for us, I couldn't afford you on my own". I should have figured it out then, but it's been a long road. Boot camp explains my childhood very well. Shut up, don't speak unless spoken to, you are worthless and do everything wrong... blah blah blah. She made me diet, exercise, punishments were cruel. Beatings sometimes. Breathtaking indeed to finally be free to be me, to not have anxiety with every phone call/text, to not be put down. I'm glad you are able to find your tribe!

I was definitely not born into my soul family. I felt like the black sheep in my original family, then lost one parent to cancer and the other emotionally to mental illness, and lived with extended family, Ironically with someone who thought she was a light worker, but was actually very abusive and was a narcissist. By that time I saw the bullshit for what it was and I was starting to come into my power. I left at 18 and never looked back. Hung onto my roots with my dad and brother for a while, but my father passed and I started believing my brother when he showed me who he was. So here I am, finding my soul tribe, mostly in the yoga community 💜 I definitely believe I had those experiences so that I could master healing by healing myself.

I felt guilty for very long time because I had to remove my narcissistic mother from my life. Even after I healed (actually I'm still healing) I don't have the need to have her in my life. And often the society doesn't understand this and makes it even harder, saying: she gave you birth and she is your mother. Well, even if she is my mother, I don't have to keep her in my life and experience the same patterns and toxic behavior. Thank you for this video!

I called my step father out in a letter in 2010. This abusive behavior produces insecurity and we’re always wanting to please others. It’s why a lot of us have taken on the masculine male role. No one protected us, not even our parents.

I feel every bit of this in my bones, and my soul is a given here. I've only recently embarked on a spiritual healing journey. Six years, actually, but discovered Christina about three years ago. This shit MATTERS. Personally I have absolutely no logical business in my blood family. They're embarrassed by me. I'm "too much". But I can remember as a child saying to myself "this shit ends with me" and I've stuck with that. My daughters are warriors. One is actually adopted legally as an adult, and even looks like us. I've said for years that blood amounts to jackshit. To my other daughter, I have told her that her genetic contributor had nothing more to do with her than to help create her physical structure.

I really love these new videos. I hope by your recently Instagram post on changing over to storytelling, this is where you are going. This type of video seems more feminine vs the masculine outline format. I love both. Anytime I find myself alone while walking and I see a man, I become hyper vigilant. It triggers me every time. My molestation is a wound that seems to always cycle back around. My molester died of the Covid Delta variant. My guides brought him to me. It was hard. They showed me he was molested by a man when he was a baby and never remembered it. Only in seeing that, could I have any kind of forgiveness. Life is never black or white. You are a beautiful soul Christina. Your work heals both up close and at a distance. Much love to you.

EMDR is a great way to heal trauma. It allows you to process the trauma emotionally, physically and then neutralizes it into memory. Please look into it if talking about it makes you shake or cry.

Thank you so so much Christina! I didn’t remove myself from a family that allowed and protected my father who sexually abused me. He passed 21 years ago with things unresolved. I feel like I’ve finally let my anger towards him go. It was after I found out his father was sexually abusive too. I’ve been dealing with rage towards my mom because we were very close (so I thought) until I told her of my father’s sexual abuse. She told me to move on and denied it happened. I don’t wish her Ill but I cut ties with her last October. She’s not doing well right now and is in fact having breast cancer surgery today. I dreamt of her all night. I honestly wish I could quit caring completely. Sometimes I feel I have because I feel almost numb but then my dreams or a memory tell me different. How do I make the rage go away? I would kill for my children and I can’t forgive that she didn’t do anything but kiss his ass until he died. She had money and she had family and options to leave. She chose him

I so sorry that you had to go through this my dear. I am sending you lots of love and light ❤️🙏 Everyone in our life is playing a role that is given to them in order to understand who we are! So this life is happening for us! Your mom and dad played different roles and even though it was toxic, it is still a lesson. It is important to understand that it is just a lesson and it is nobody's fault! You can choose to forgive everyone ( for your own good my dear and that is the only way you can heal and come out of this lesson). They are responding or choosing a response based on their consciousness level that they are at. So your mother will respond as per her consciousness level and it is nobody's fault. You deserve to be healed and happy my dear. Even if your mother does not understand your pain, still your pain is true and what you have been through is not right. You are loved and cherished by the divine ❤️. Forgive me for giving this unsolicited advice if doesn't resonates with you

Oh wow, this is ME. I cut ties with my parents (mother and sexually abusive stepfather) in October of 2021. My mother also battled breast cancer last year. I was discarded at 18 (20 years ago) after I told my mom the year before (as I was of age) and she went back to him and they're still together after 20 years of knowing, of charges being laid and dropped (at her request). I went back after trying to make it on my own, to try and prove my love to my mom by shutting up and pretending. Feel the rage. You're allowed to be mad. I had to manifest a lot of my parent's patterns to be able to have compassion towards them and feel okay. I know that my mom is on her own path, and its just as hard as my own and how much she has to delude everyone that her life is perfect. That is something I refuse to carry anymore. I have also come to the conclusion that I would only let my mother back into my life is if she stopped with the facade (of EVERYTHING) that everything is perfect and okay and come with full acceptance of what has happened. She's not there yet and I don't need her to be there for me to feel okay. Much love!

Thank you! Im having my son listen to this. My 36 year-old son has Lyme, Babesia (tick-borne illnesses) and had meningitis, several TBIs, and mold toxicity. His mind is healing, but is on antibiotics and other meds to detox from these horrific symptoms. He’s going to a neuropsychologist who is working with him, but at home, he thinks everyone is getting ahead except him. He says he has no friends (he has some, but they change) and his family has dissolved (He has cousins his age that have families, and he’s never been able to hod down a job, but we didn’t know he had these illnesses in his brain. When you mentioned that your family doesn’t have to stay your family, I told him that he doesn’t have to compare himself to his family, an he has a soul family. I have a soul family, myself. These are people that I connect with on a soul level, and I’m looking for more!

THANK YOU for saying out all these things about sexual abuse from "parents". THANK YOU. It is the most difficult thing to acknowledge ,that it is what it is, not to mention saying it . It's like being dirtied within forever, unclearably, unwashably, because of what they did , without any hope of ever getting clean, ever getting rid of this horrible "energy". I've always felt, that I have no right to live, because of what they did (and because of not being able to protect myself, even though I was very little, I blamed myself in my feelings for it) . I felt that no matter what I do, I remain dirtied through them, and I have nothing at all, nothing to build my life on. I don't know if anybody understands it, but I just wanted to say it out, write it out.

I'm 51, I spent all those years in this self-imposed prison of forced silence, thinking, feeling I was the worst of the worst, and I had no right to exist at all, not to mention speaking. Iam making baby steps towards it now, yeah at 51, I am learning tó speak and walk on my own right. I just realized I was still holding onto anger and sadness from nobody protecting me from my abuse. I think because my mother was working to raise me and my 2 sisters and my dad wasn't really in the picture I felt like I shouldn't blame her. I feel like I've worked through the trauma I have from the sexual abuse I endured growing up...I have absolutely forgiven & actually have so much love for my abuser & healed that part of it. What I find so much more difficult is the part my mother played. She basically acted as though it was my fault & then told me to keep my mouth shut. My mom & i have grown a lot since then. & for the 1st time in our lives we have a really good relationship. The trauma I have from her response to the abuse is the 1 issue i still deal w. Its difficult to navigate & im still learning how. Maybe I just heal the wounds she inflicted through her response & thats just as much as I can do???

Yes, you need to heal to the point where you can regulate your triggers. You control the triggers when they come to us, so they no longer control your life. You recognize your triggers for what they are and reframe in the moment.

I kid you not but you keep answering questions I pose to my spirit guides and validating messages I receive. Yesterday I journaled a question....what does it mean to be healed? I have received great understanding about my childhood trauma which has calmed a lot of internal flairs and triggers but when I receive more clarity about my trauma, it still triggers me, & I knew I was not healed fully. So I asked above Q and also accepted that perhaps my wounds would be with me for some time / all my life. Can I also add that the Mother wound is also what I'm looking for healing for.... What I'm receiving now listening to this is: Validate your own trauma....fully validate your your trauma to fully heal...don't compare, don't look around , kneel in a crunching position and fully validate your personal trauma... It's so helpful Chris... Thank you. 💚💚A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders... Mine is not as severe as sexual abuse, but it's more around acceptance. There's this deep emotional loneliness that makes me keep pleasing my blood family at the expense of my dreams. I'm always the topic of brutal gossip in the blood family. And almost everything I do is seen with the lens of misunderstanding. They don't do it intentionally. They just really don't understand me. I know what I've to do now. Letting things just be instead of forcing. They're awesome humans, catering to animals. Like you said, I'm just going to check up on them. Commitment. What a refreshing insight, when I first started teaching that we don't always come into our soul family for growth, I was met with strong hesitation by many other mediums. I dunt have childhood trauma... Has a great life. Then at 32 my dad went off the rails and nearly lost everything after watching his father die.... That's my adult child trauma.... To watch the man that man u who u are, fall to pieces and the family fall apart

As a parent, my oldest daughter has ghosted me since February and will not talk to me . I have no idea what is going on except that I feel so hurt. She has decided that her boyfriend and his parents are her family now. I wish I knew what was going on. I realize I just need to let go and work on self. Losing a child like this is so painful.
