Must have more and longer vids, Kenny. You're a good and informative watch. I'd like to see anything you do regarding drum tuning/tunings, gear, maybe something about good high quality but relatively affordable stuff that you've experienced, yada yada. I dig it all!

@@KennySharretts mine too. I'm running a Grey Hybrid at the moment for durability. Playing a rather high tuning and playing on a chrome over steel snare. Was going for a pretty bright, cutting sound, but definitely prefer the medium high tuning with the Dry.

Best snare drum EVER! I love this drum, it’s my go-to snare and I’m fully sold on 13x7 snares - they free my legs up, giving me that little bit of space in the cockpit - they sound huge, but are still sensitive - I can tune it down for a fat greasy sound or tune it up for an epic crack. Love SLP, and especially this G-Maple! (The Vintage Hammered Steel is also incredible!)

Great video. Would you know the frequency tunings for both heads? Or note range?

I didn't mark the frequencies as I don't use a tune-bot/strobe tuner, BUT do note that at lower tunings, odds are the bottom head is an octave plus the interval. Thanks for watching.

Okay this is a tough one, best advice for a 28x14 kick muffling, tuning,

Tune the batter to where you foot likes it (probably a little tighter than say a 22" or 24" kick), then tune the front head a whole step above the batter pitch. Use a large hand towel or t-shirt to make a pillow as I did in my "How To Make A Tshirt Pillow" video. no socks neede if towel used. if no port tape it in place.
