do you know if over-the-air updates from Ford are reverting trucks back to their stock tunes? if they are, is their anyway around it other than recognizing an update and reflashing the truck everytime?
Thank you for your interest in MPT! If you would go ahead and fill out the vehicle support request form, that way you will be notified when we do have something available. www.morepowertuning.com/unsupported
Is everything included in the kit? If I opted to purchase the tuner as well as the tunes, is the adapter box and everything needed included? Also, is it necessary to replace anything such as fuel injectors etc. to keep up with the new power from the PR-X tune? Thanks
@@mptperformance thanks for the info! Are yall able to push all this extra power out without hurting reliability or dramatically increasing wear on parts?
So this wouldnt void warranty if flashed back to stock? And theres no way for them to tell? Also what are the hp and torque numbers for a 21-22 3.5 with the 93 prx? Loved it on my 2015 but just got a 2022 3.5
The warranty is all based on the dealer and service tech. It is always a smart decision to return the vehicle to stock when having any work performed. You can expect right around the 135whp mark on the 93 PR-X
Source your own 21/22 pcm and we can complete the swap in 2 hours. ($300) We can source it for you as well. Probably around $1000 total pcm and swap. That price may vary depending on availability. (does not include tuner/tune)
@@darkmatter206 Not, yet. Hopefully soon. There is a way to do it though. You would need a 22 PCM and have it calibrated to your vehicle. Then we could flash it. You would also need a new set of keys.
So what did they do then? Get rid of the Bosch ECU and steal Bosch's design for themselves and so now you have to do this janky method to program it because they were replacing engines from people blowing them up due to a canned tune? That's the only reason I see why they would have this custom ECU... How annoying.
