Very useful video, and thank you for sharing the knowledge. Question however, is the regulator in the righthand mono block an Airmaks FAC version regulator or an after market one ?
Both are sub 12 just different versions of the part with very different internals hence the need to highlight that they operate in different ways as one of them can be damaged by adjusting the wrong direction under pressure
Thank you very much for making this video, I havw a krait l fac with the righthand monoblock and accidentally I tyrned the reg down from 90 to 70 bar. Could that harm the reg?
Chris - I have a krait in 177 bought it from Sam @RonDaleys. Good polish of the bore, huma reg and it's a laser. It's sub 12 and reg is 82bar (digital huma gauge) but I feel like the firing cycle is a little harsh when Co. Pared 6:27 to my vulcan 2 (177) and especially when compared to my uragan compact (22 cal). I appreciate the 22 will always require less hammer strike to achieve power but, before I go fiddling around with the krait, is this a characteristic of the krait or can it be smoothed out?
thanks for video , i want to know the best adjustment or number of turn in valve for a FAC .22 compact krait ,i am using 18gr jbs speed between 800 and 900 fps
The best way is to turn it all the way in, then slowly bring it back out a little bit at a time until you find the sweet spot for consistency, the setting shown above is intended for the UK market where we have to keep rifles below a certain power limit so we need to set the adjuster where it will balance power output with both light and heavier pellets which is a different goal tp you, for someone like yourself with FAC power your goal is simply to be consistent output with your chosen ammunition, you can probably run the valve tighter to save air.
Hello, the linked video at the end "Krait Video Instruction manual" shows how to operate each adjuster, this video is designed to guide those familiar with the functions to get a good stable result
@@nedawi123 I am speaking slowly and clearly, I explain all non common terms such as pellet mass sensitivity, what exact part of the video do you find unclear?
