I appreciate this perspective though I have some issues with the way the numbers are presented. With several of the examples, it seemed he was talking about increased REVENUE not INCOME. For example, with the self-storage example, selling ancillary items might mean an 8% increase of revenue, but that doesn’t account for the COST of purchasing and carrying inventory, and the possible increase in staffing needs. It’s unclear if the numbers he mentioned in the first couple of examples was a real net income increase or a REVENUE increase which doesn’t account for increased operational costs
