Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for this tutorial! I made myself nuts trying to weed out a logo my son did for his band last year, infact I had to switch to print then cut because I couldn't deal with it! Lol. They've even since changed their logo lol! But also was trying to figure out contour on another project the other day and just gave up. This will be a game changer, including the picture svg change because I was trying to tame all those details and it wasn't working so great. So thank you so much! 💖
Omg!!!! You are frigin amazing!! I’ve watched your videos a little here and there and gotten such great tips. But, this one is over the moon!!! Thank you , thank you!! Thank you. I cannot tell you how many decals I’ve done and those little pieces drive me nuts and you saved us!!!! Thank you and welcome back!!!!! Hope your doing good!!
wanting to sign up on the web page, but it takes me to another. i get all my supplies from 123 vinyl. looking for the place where i could pay for svg patterns.
Sorry to hear that, Michael. Hope it wasn't your illness that deprives us of your creativity!🧤🧤🧤 This are heat gloves in case you're wondering, I'm a sublimation addict.
Michael, So glad to see you! (I surely hope this means you are well on the road of recovery!) been missing you and your tutorials! Thanks for this. My slow brain -looks a little difficult but will be trying this as I have some pics I would love to turn into an svg. Looking forward to seeing more of you and your tutorials! Blessings…
I have had nothing but a battle trying to access my saved or downloaded SVG from my iPad. I use my iPad with my cricut joy. I don’t work with large projects
Love your presentation. I don’t have the a Cricut .i have the new Loklik ( could not pass up the $105 price ) but a lot of what u a day works on it. Glad you’re not as wordy as a few are. THANKS I learned a lot
So great to see you! I was just thinking about you 2 days ago and then this came up. Hope you are doing as well as you portray! Hope all is well with Morgan as well. Thank you for a great video! I love your doggie, so cute! By the way the Costco brand of parchment is like the Reynolds’s brand I have been doing this from when I first started watching you❤
So I have a question, have you watched Michael Builds? He mentioned you during his episode of using the cricut to cut out adhesive backed foam for an insert in his concrete mould in memory of a neighbor’s dog who’d recently passed? Anyways, I wanted to do the same idea with the pups name only include an outline of the dog. My dog passed a couple years ago but I’m finally ready to create something in memory for him. I actually already used the website to outline all my dogs and I attempted on my female Aussie who has lots of fur and anyways I struggled to cut through the thin adhesive backed foam using the fine point blade and even with the “more” cut, currently I can’t find a deep cut blade and housing locally so I ordered one. What would you recommend to make the clearest cuts? I don’t have the maker I have the explore air so ik I can’t use the razor blade one. Anyways I’d love if you teamed up with Micheal Builds and somehow combine cricut with cement work would be fascinating
Love your videos but disappointed that there is no shipping to Australia (I realise this is not your fault) but if you could recommend or team up with Australian companies that would be amazing. Keep up the great work!
Hi Michael, I know you made a video around a year ago on how to make die cut stickers on your cricket. I was wondering if it works on a cricket joy. I was also wondering if you can make a picture a sticker and how you would do that. Thanks for read and I hope that you have a wonderful day.

Welcome back, sure have missed your videos. I hope you are feeling better, you look like you are doing so much better. Again thank you for a great video. Take care lots of Love right back at cha …
I’ve been using the Trace Bitmap tool in Inkscape for this. It’s not as simple as what you’ve shown here, but it gives you a lot more control when making the svg
Michael, thank you, thank you for this video! The timing of it is so perfect. I just lost my dear little dog, and I can’t think of a better way to create some memorable pieces of her. I’m brand new to Cricut, and I’m pretty sure this will be my favorite project. 💕
Awww Barb I'm so sorry to hear that :( I'm really happy to be able to help you do a project to help remember your fur baby though. You might consider checking out the Facebook group if you haven't already.... it's perfect for people brand new to Cricut. facebook.com/groups/807257753074116
