Helpful to start thinking about the intervention and What I did in session at the outset as I write my note. I always include a Plan section and thinking about “How is this session going to apply to my client’s everyday life” [and functioning outside of this office] makes sense (e.g., Ct to continue to notice positive moments). Hello, Maelisa! I have an off-topic question. I believe previously that I saw you are a PsyD. I'm currently an LCSW and have a private practice. I've often thought about pursuing and PsyD because I just have always wanted a doctoral degree of some kind. Most of the advice I get is that since the degree doesn't change the actual work I will be doing (therapy for clients), then it doesn't make sense to pursue. I'm curious what your thoughts are about this.

Do you by any chance offer one on one help with this?
