xxPatrickEmelyxx well since the seasons ended you bored and then you started searching up haikyuu stuff AND THEN you messed around and got haikyuu on your fyp (tiktok) and well you saw a texting thing with dances in it and you really wanted to make one and here we are..
This method was firstly used to create smooth animation as initially when animators began making frame by frame pictures the movement of the characters were a lot jittery but this way by making frames through a video made the animations much more smoother Thanks buddy This gave me amazing g ideas!

Hi! That is just an old animation I drew ages ago. It is doesn’t have a name and I never uploaded it anywhere as I never finished it, I just used it in the video as an example of animations I had done before. Sorry if that isn’t of much help. Maybe just searching for ‘zoom in animation tutorial’ on youtube might give you a tutorial for a similar thing. Good luck!
when i make a new layer over my frame, the frame becomes extremely blurry and i can barely see where to even draw my guidelines. Even if i combind them into a group it getrs even blurrier, you know how to fix that? i did all the steps u did earlier aswell. otherwise, very good video :D
I think the problem is the onion layer setting. Onion layers are the previous and following frames in the animation that are shown at lower opacity and it helps with animating the next frame correctly. But if all frames are shown as onion layers it gets far too cluttered and u cant make out which one youre working on. My recommendation is so to set the amount of onion layers to just 1, which is still helpful and far easier to navigate. The settings are down in the animation timeline.
Check the opacity of your onion layers. Or hide the other layers so that you only see the one you are currently on. But dont forget to unhide all the other layers before you play the animation.

Hi! When you go to export there will be two sections, the first one being save image and the other save layers. The bottom for options of the save layers section will be “animated ...”. Any of these should do, although “animated mp4” is the standard one. Hope that helps!

Really great video!!. I have a few questions if you have a moment.... When you are working with a longer video sequence that just can’t fit into one batch of layers is it difficult to break the sequence up into multiples and assemble them later in the editor? In theory I know this shouldn’t be a problem but in practice I don’t know if there are issues in the workflow? And my last question ( I promise:) once you’ve made your animation are you able to change the project size before exporting... So that it can be viewable on larger screens and or projection? Really appreciate it! Of course I’m happy to answer your questions as best as i can. If your original clip is too long i don’t really see any other options but too cut it into smaller clips and animate them separately. My tip for that would be to upload the original video into a editing software and cut it into smaller clips in there. Export the clips separately, animate them in procreate and then bring them back into the same project in the editing software. Replace the original clips with the animated clip (or put them on top of them), so that it is exactly the same timeline as it would’ve been. (Hope that make sense) Another tip is, when you’ve animated the first small clip, export the last frame separately and bring it into the next clip as the first frame. That way you have a reference of what your animation looked like the frame before and you can build off of that, so that there are no weird cuts in the final piece. (Make sure to delete that frame again once youve animated the rest, so that its not in there twice when you put all the clips together). Hope that helps! Regarding the changing of the size, yes you can change it afterwards, either in procreate by going into canvas settings and then crop and resize - I believe I speak about it in this video as well - or by exporting the file and uploading it into a project that is of higher quality in your editing software. It will automatically pull the animation bigger then. However i dont recommend this because it will still look pixilated, since the original animation was created at lower pixel amount. If you plan on doing that i would do it before drawing the actual animation. You can do the sketches at a lower pixel level and then pull the canvas bigger before going into the final drawings, but not after that. Hope that helps ! Thanks for the interest!

DauCreates I had a feeling, because I still use an older version that doesn’t do this. I have an iPad mini 2 so this kind of leaves me out, except I didn’t know you could do this with Procreate 5. I am always looking for apps where I can use special effects. My dream is to have after affects some day, but that’s costly & out of budget being unemployed now, but one day I bought Procreate & I have loved Procreate! I always wanted to have a way to add special effects to my videos through Procreate, so I never imagined them doing like this! You’ve given me something to look forward too!
thank you! I have the ipad pro, but i believe ipad air should be more than enough:) it might effect the amount of layers (frames) you can have in one video but the tip i mentioned in the video of duplicating the project and then deleting unnecessary frames could help with that. 😇 good luck!

So say I want to lower the fps on a video but I don’t want to pay $30 for Luma Fusion. What other app or editing software could I use to simply lower the fps of a video?

Hi! Unfortunately at this point procreate doesnt have a sound feature, but it is easily added afterwards. Just export the file once the animation is done and import it into the video editing program of your choice. If you have an ipad, imovie will work and be free. There you can add any sound you like. Hope it helps! :)

I’m still confused on how to add audio in. I have watched a lot of videos but I’m still confused. I don’t know if there even is a way, but if you have any idea how to add in audio pleeeeeease help meeeee aaaaaaaaaaaaa
Oh thats what you meant! I thought whenever you tried watching this video lol! Hmm that is really weird. It still works for me. Have you updated procreate and/or your ipad? If its not that then im sure they’ll fix it in the next update hopefully😬
