How to Turn Loops into a Full Song Arrangement | Electronic Basics in Cubase 

In this Cubase tutorial video of tips and ideas for creating modern electronic music, Venus Theory looks at turning loops into a full song. Using the ‘duplicate and variate’ approach, he walks you through from loop to finished idea, using inspiration by other tracks, arranging instruments, layering different elements, creating a middle section, creating drum fills, providing weight and interest by using the 808 sample, building up before a moment of pause. The pause creates interest before each of the electronic track drops, every section of the song including variations and a different sound flavor each time to keep the listener’s interest.
