I can't believe I spent days trying to find a Zombie Apocalypse modpack and haven't found this... Great video! I also like that you included the fact that you can change how much zombies spawn. also i suggest adding the Blood Moon mod cause every night is the same but if you have a blood moon its very intense and just changes it a bit and I suggest adding a diseaster mod that will add natural diseasters to the game like the weather2 mod
This is really useful, as I am making a zombie themed modpack for me and my friends. And I will be getting 90% of these. I didn't know I needed these till' now.
Just recently got a new PC Rig and been looking at modpacks for awhile now, and just so happen to find your Cursed Walking modpack. Super excited to try it out! Thank you for putting the time to put it together.
The problem I have with this, is that zombies spawn in without logic. You can have a clear city by day and suddenly out of nowhere, while walking on the street, 10,000 zombies appear out of thin air. There has to be a mod that fixes this, like player distance or make zombies only appear in buildings or even not spawn where you've already been, on a timer. The fact that I can visibly see the zombies spawn in places that do not make sense just turns the entire thing off for me.
Thats the day zombies mod for you. It definitely does have its flaws, but I personally think its worth it. If you don't like it though, you can disable/remove the mod from the pack.
@@mikeoxmal1028 that would work if I hadn't seen them visibly spawn in. Too much fog ruins immersion for me, just basically permanent blindness. But even with all that, it still doesn't make sense for infinite zombie waves.
Hey man tysm for the vid, I've been working on some zombie modpacks of my own and a nice QoL additions I had were the mods called "Easy Gunpowder" and "JRFTL". The first one allows for the creation of more ammo, and the second allows for rotten flesh to be smelted into leather. I usually pair JRFTL with a backpack mod as to make it alot more useful.
I really appreciate for your dedication to make the best minecraft zombie apocalypse with liminal mods. It's been something I've been looking since I installed Minecraft java.
I am very grateful for the modpack, since I myself do not posess enough knowledge and courage to fuck with the logs and errors. I based my own modpack made for me and my friends on yours, except in nuclear winter with never-ending hellish weather and temperature to make our lives living hell :D
How’d you get terralith to work with lost cities? Whenever i try to use both, none of the terralith biomes generate, the terrain generation changes to vanilla biomes still apply though.
Love the video and the modpack, great work. Just one question, for the alex's mobs mod would it be possible to re enable all the spawning of the fantasy mobs that have been disabled for the modpack?
I love your modpack so far! It feels more interesting than Mustard Virus and much fairer and more balanced than Last Days of Humanity. I felt like Mustard Virus and the rest of the Forge Labs packs are poorly optimised for randomly generated worlds and only work on the maps locked behind Sean's Patreon. Last Days of Humanity suffered a lot from artificial difficulties that make the game more frustrating than fun, but difficult like the RLCraft health system, physics for all blocks, forcing you to play on hardcore, and toxic gas in caves with no way to disable them in the config. I do have some suggestions though. Either remove Alex's Mobs or put all of the hostile mobs on BadMobs blacklist. Despite being in a Zombie Apocalypse, all of my deaths have come from Centipedes and Murmurs. Why would an overgrown insect or a vampire be more threatening than the zombies? I believe that they also take up the mob count from the zombies. I would also adjust the spawn rates of zombies in caves. The amount that spawns + Runners guarantees a death, which makes mining practically impossible. I just wanted a diamond, but 50+ zombies and a Mutant assaulted me. Lastly, I would suggest adding Zombie Horse Spawn and Giant Spawn. Giant could create an Attack on Titan-like atmosphere, and Zombie Horses could be a friendly zombie and an easy source of transportation in the early game if the player manages to take one from its undead rider.
Thank you for the suggestions! The centipedes and murmurs aren't supposed to spawn, and i thought I disabled them in badmobs. What version are you playing on, so I can fix the config?
@@OnMod The latest release for 1.19.2. I suggested removing the Alex-branded mods entirely because they make early-game survival unnecessarily difficult, and I think they bloat the mob count, which prevents very useful animals like Sheep, Wolves, Cows, Llamas, and Horses from spawning. I have seen more Seagulls, Whales, Lobsters, Crows, Snow Leopards, Froststalkers, Moose, and Bison than Rabbits, Polar Bears, Sheep, and Cows in Snowy Plains and nearby biomes. Some of Alex's mobs like Leopards and Froststalkers are also known to relentlessly attack pets like Horses and Pigs, which adds to the unnecessary difficulty. *Edit": You are also currently using an outdated version of The Hordes that causes Horses and Zombie Horses to have unreasonably high speeds. This causes issues in their pathfinding, and it often leads to them falling off of cliffs or running into blocks that can harm them. This should be fixed as soon as possible.
Great video! By the way, I want to question if the nether is disabled by a mod or something, because in the page of the mod pack is a commentary that confirms it but I dont know what mod disable the nether. Could someone pls help me with that? I will be grateful.
i really like the modpack but every time i join my world it acts like i'm playing on a server with bad connecton (i break blocks and it doesnt drop anything) so i would like to know if there is a mod that makes you automatically host/join a server in the modpack.

you have to download the map and you have to pay for the map in the description... I tried in a normal world and it's pretty cool too, but in a actual city it is better.

Theres still missing in the map of "Lost Cities" and those are the Props and Decorations. you know like those barbed wires, iron fences, barricades, and stuff. Well i was asking if you know any mod that has those Props? I'd Love to know!
i downloaded the 1.19.2 hovewer the nether goes to like 1000 ms ticks so its umplayable on that dimension weirdly it goes down to 10 ms ticks when im on spectator. any solution to that fellas?

So I downloaded the modpack but looking at it, a lot are saying they are incompatible. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong? Im very amature at this but am trying to set it up for about a dozen friends of mine.

I downloaded the latest version of this mod pack (1.19.2 version 6.1) and I’ve noticed that some mods aren’t available anymore and some mods are changed. The backpack mod doesn’t have a slot of its own but the tool belt does and would the first aid mod be reintroduced to the mod pack. Also are there any other vehicle mods that add helicopter’s and bigger boats?
The first aid mod is in the hard version of the modpack, denoted by "(hard)" after the title of a file on the modpack homepage. There are other good vehicle mods, like Immersive vehicles and Mr.Crayfish's vehicle mod, but they are only available for 1.16.5 and earlier.
Does anybody know why all the zombies in the surrounding area come together when i hit a single one (they all aggro and find me when i attack a singular zombie)

Hey, i downloaded the newest version of the modpack and i am playing on a server (aternos) and every time i join my world it loads it for a really short period of time but then it crashes and the code is -1. please help
I wouldn't worry. The virus only affected a few mods for a small amount of time. Good thing about the modding community is that we are quick to point out if anything is amiss. If you are still worried, maybe join Curseforge's discord server. They will let everyone know as soon as possible if there is some sort of malware present.
Hey man, i love your modpack and im hyped to hop in with some friends to play the new update, but when we installed it all of our keybinds were fucked, not a big deal but kind of a hassle to fix. If you could fix this in the next big update id really appreciate it.
