08 Corolla - I couldn't get it to work until I read comment below to turn ignition ON/OFF 3x. I did that in both places and it worked! I then cut a 3/4" piece of blue painters tape to cover the flashing seatbelt light. I'll get used to the blue and I won't have to watch the flashing light.

Do you or anyone know if it is possible to turn of the door open chime when vehicle is in drive on a 2023 4runner with push button start.

I"ve seen many videos that give this same process. I've also had many toyotas (tundras, sequoias, etc) and it has never worked on any of them. what gives with this repeating a process that does not work?

Didn't work in my 2015 Highlander XLE AWD V6 because the readout does not come back to odometer, it has a message where the odometer is stating IGNITION ON. This messes things up at step 7 because I cannot turn the IGNITION ON readout off without hitting the odometer button which messes up this process. Any idea on how to work around this on a 2015 Highlander?

For my 08 toyota Sienna, it worked but only by holding the button for 10 seconds. When I held it for 20 sec it did not work. Anyway, thanks.

You can also stop the beeping by installing dummy seatbelt. It works but not recommended because you can’t wear a seatbelt

Thanks mate, it was a huge help for me. After washing and cleaning my Yaris 2012, when I sat in the belt light was continuously on with a tremendous unbearable buzz. I followed the steps described in the video and now my car is back to normal, at least for now it’s ok. Many thanks for sharing such tips 👍👍

So I can ride a motorcycle that has absolutely no protection and is very dangerous as long as I've got a little plastic lid on my head. But if I drive a car which has protection I'm required to wear a seatbelt. That makes about as much sense as pissing off of an overpass

Anyone know how to disable the first 5 beeps when turning on? Sometimes I put seatbelt on after I start and sometimes your just moving the car a small distance and don't need those initial 5 beep reminders.

Doesn't work on 2019 Hilux SR5 😒, I'll have to resort getting a bi-directional OBD2 scanner to go in and turn that, and the door open chime off. Gets pretty old those chimes! Someone hit me up if they find a hack 🙏

I have a 2019 Camry rental and the sensor must have malfunctioned cuz the back seatbelt warning goes off constantly. Sadly this didn't work cuz at the last step there was no option to turn it on or off.

This has worked on every 4Runner I own...but I can get it to work on the 2020 OR Premium. Any ideas ?

Just picked up my 2019 Corolla SX and the beeping from the Reversing Camera is counter productive as I can't concentrate. I don't know why it's the default. Apparently the dealership can only change it. I also have reverse sensors so I don't know why there isn't just a single beep to show that the camera is engaged.

Enjoyed the video other than the disclaimers. They are not needed and are a common sense thing, no matter how stupid people can be. At least those with any form of common sense.
