This is a fast setup for loudness equalization setup or sound eq cheese for what many of the pros call it. I hope this quick tutorial helps!

What does low frequency protection do exactly? I see a lot of pros don’t have that on unless they haven’t discovered what it does either

Pros dont do it bc they have to be ready for Lan. It makes the game louder and sound better but it could also cause audio and input lag

It’s filters out lower frequencys hz it’s meant more for home theater setups so you don’t blow your speaker trying to play 30hz through it. a lot of gun shots or explosions are lower hz around 60hz-80hz i believe so you’d wanna filter it around that area.

It's worth it anyways, if you have good hearing then the gunshots of whatever game you're playing is gonna give you tinnitus.

You go to sound settings above master volume device properties then to the right additional device properties then enhancements scroll down loudness equalization. Boom!
