How To Turn On Or Off Repeat On Apple Music
In this quick tech how-to video, I’m going to show you where to find the repeat option inside of Apple Music, in order to turn it on or off.
To get started, open Apple Music and browse to the album or playlist that you want to put on repeat.
I’ll open the album here at the top, but this would work the same if I selected anything inside of Top Songs, or if you were listening to any playlists available below.
Tap the first song to start playing the album.
Once it starts, choose the song now playing on the bottom.
When the next screen appears, and it looks like this, tap the three-lined list icon on the bottom right. You may automatically come to this screen though if you’ve done this in the past.
Near the top right, you’ll see three icons. The first is shuffle. The last one is automatically play similar. The one we’re looking for is the repeat options.
Tap it once to highlight it, and it will then repeat the entire album indefinity. Tap it again and you’ll see a 1 appear. This will repeat just this one song. Tap it again and it will unhighlight, turning off repeat.
When you make your choice, swipe down from the top to get back to the album you’re playing.
The repeat option you’ve chosen will now be the default and will stick until you turn it back off or on for anything you play in the future.
And that’s how you turn on or off the repeat option inside of Apple Music.
