Loved these experiments. I lighten my hair with juice from a lemon while allowing my hair to dry in the sun. When it dries, I spray H2O on my hair and let the sun dry it. After 2 days of doing this while gardening, my hair has a wonderful sun-kissed look.

samee it really doesn’t lighten the hair in the beginning but it gives a beautiful reddish tint to the hair i like adding little amounts yoghurt apple cider vinegar olive oil and lemon juice for shine the lemon juice with the honey water and cinnamon gave a slight lightning effect on the first try with red tints i was surprised because just 1 day before i had hennaed my hair with a brown henna powder but found out it was wayyy darker than i expected and literally after applying the honey lemon juice cinnamon olive oil acv and yoghurt i didn’t achieve the result i wanted but the lightning effect was very very obvious and adding yoghurt made my hair so shiny and healthy so when i was standing in the sun the next day it was so shiny and the color was more of natural brown with natural red tints ( it is said that the mask should be used twice a week for better results or until reaching the color you desire)

Raw honey does work but you must leave it on overnight. There are videos from several years ago and there is quite a a difference. On that video raw honey (which has hydrogen peroxide in it and that is why it works) is mixed with conditioner and put on dry hair, covered, and left on overnight.

Thank you for your comment ☺️ Looks like the lemon and peroxide are not damaging the hair (if the hair are healthy and not damaged already). They can become a bit dry after those treatments but conditioner or hair mask can fix this issue. To be honest I was leaving this honey mixture sometimes for more than an hour so I think that was enough time to develop enough peroxide. But this honey treatment was very messy and annoying to use so even if this would work after longer time of using it, it's not for me 😉

Love how thorough this was, thank you! I've been using sun-in since I was a kid. However, I feel like I'm being duped on Amazon with something else being in the product, maybe somebody using it and filling it with water and returning it. (I ordered two bottles one time and they did NOTHING ). Previously getting it from the store afterwards it was fine. At least the last time I tried to go to the store, there was only one bottle left and it didn't DO anything. So I'm thinking somebody used it and filled it with water and returned it or something. Been really frustrated to not have anything that works. Sick of it. So even though I love the product, I'm looking at how to mix my own so at least I have all get some thing, and not keep wasting money and time on stuff that's not working. I saw another video that said instead of chamomile, lemon juice could be used. Just an option! And no having to make tea lol. 😝

If you will put a lot of peroxide on your scalp it can be irritating. But I recommend use a bit at first and see how is working on your hair. The best result is when you are doing gradually to avoid harsh regrowth (every week or every second week). I think like 50 ml in spray bottle is enough for the first time. Then you can see if you need more. And use good conditioner or hair mask after each use.

That is absolutely normal your hair is getting darker with age. I was light blonde as a kid and last year I realised my hair looks like brown, not blonde anymore. So the methods I'm showing in the video are helpful to create nice highlights and lighten the hair.

What a great & useful experiment! The sun always use to give me nice highlights when I was younger, but as I’ve aged, my hair has gotten darker and I don’t spend time in the sun. I use a product called Go Blonder by John Frieda on the first warm sunny day in late May, which is just enough to give me some highlights, but I think I may do the lemon juice towards the end of summer & during winter to help provide a better, subtle, transition of color as my hair grows out and gets trimmed. Thanks so much for this!

In my experience cinnamon can lighten hair very significantly! You just do not mix it with water, only honey and cinnamon and you keep it on your hair overnight (there is no point of going through the inconvenient process of applying the mud to wash it off only in half an hour, it is a waste of time and effort). Also, there are two types of cinnamon: ceylon and cassia. I believe cassia cinnamon is the one that has lightening properties.

Im natural blonde, but in winter times due to lack of sun exposure my hair gets darker, so I decided to lighten it with a mix of apple cider vinegar, strong chamomile tea and lemon juice. Do you recommend spraying it and leaving your hair dry and then wash it or may be blow drying it would help the mixture to work better? Thank you!❤️❤️❤️
@LoBelia-NaturalCare
@LoBelia-NaturalCare 7 месяцев назад
I wouldn't recommend blow drying your hair after you use the spray. It's not going to help, instead will make the hair dry. Leave the solution on your hair for one hour or even more and then wash them as normal. You can also apply overnight and wash them in the morning.

I was wondering if you could make an experiment with the lemon + water lightening, like comparing the difference between lemon+water and lemon only, and maybe even comparing results after 1, 5, 10, 20 applications
@SomePeculiarities
@SomePeculiarities Год назад
Using only lemon would work faster, but also dry out and damage the hair a lot + it would probably feel sticky. Another thing to add to the process is sun exposure - if you want the hair to lighten faster, go spend some time in the sun after spritzing it in, it will work MUCH faster
@LoBelia-NaturalCare
@LoBelia-NaturalCare Год назад
I'm afraid that pure lemon juice is too strong for the hair and will make them very dry. It's better to wait a bit longer for the results and keep your hair healthy.

The hydrogen peroxide works. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT DO NOT DO IT unless you want more brittle hair. I am a blond girl whose hair began to get a little darker and I didn't want to give up any of my blondness so I tried the hydrogen peroxide. DO NOT DO IT I have never used any heat to my hair or dyed my hair prior to this. This left my once VERYYY soft hair feeling like it had nicks and cracks in it as in when I ran my hands through my hair I could feel the little bits of damage it wasn't so anymore. But it did lighten my hair. Take what you will from this and leave what you won't. I also use a sulfate-free and dimethicone-free conditioner so I can feel what my hair actually feels like.
@LoBelia-NaturalCare
@LoBelia-NaturalCare 28 дней назад
Well, it is a risk that the hair will be a little bit dry if you don't moisturize it with conditioner and oils. Also, from the comment, I feel like you used a lot of hydrogen peroxide at once. If that is the case, your hair will be weaker. You are supposed to use it gradually, a little at a time, and give it time to work and your hair to regenerate. I'm using this method for almost two years now. No damage at all. I'm using it once a month now or even less. There was time at the beginning when I used every week or every second week. I have two videos on my channel that I apply hydrogen peroxide. I hope that this will help 🙂 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nzV3Y2xSEfU.htmlsi=4GSc21kbs8GHX_QR ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xk01qemTFVE.htmlsi=r7JixB8wJ15KY_qd

@LoBelia-NaturalCare
@LoBelia-NaturalCare 5 месяцев назад
I'm using only 6% and my hair is fine. I'm applying conditioner and a bit of oil from time to time and it's enough to keep the hair moisturized. You can do like I did in the video, so use one part of 6% hydrogen peroxide and mix with one part of chamomile infusion. This way you will get 3% of hydrogen peroxide.
