Hi, i have a valve box that’s flooded also. But, I don’t see section for sprinkler switch on my breaker box, in order to turn it off first. What can I do, before I pull the water out from the valve box? Thank you for this video, been trying to figure out what to do.🙏🏼

We bought a new townhome and our valve box s is always full even after no rain for a week. The company told us this was normal? I knew it wasn't but not sure why it is always full or how to fix it. I turned the valve off during winter and went to turn it on the other day and it is rusted and the little handle bent then broke. I know its from being full all the time.

New homeowner and new sprinkler owner too. My sprinklers don’t work after heavy rainfall. 2 weeks ago, I noticed the breaker got flipped and when I flipped it on and reset the control box, it worked. Just this week, we had 5 days of heavy rainfall. The breaker box did not go off and the control box has been functioning properly. When I tried to run my sprinklers, none of the stations worked. Any idea why or how do I fix this?? I just overseeded since they did a septic field repair and need my sprinklers working asap! Thanks!!! :)

My value box flooded recently after heavy rain. I drained it a few times and I could not identify a leak from the pipes. All I can tell is every time i moved the dirt from underneath more water comes up. Is this normal? I didn’t notice my neighbors being flooded.

That’s normal for ground water to keep coming in. There isn’t a seal on the bottom

I have a leak and need to turn off the water. I found a pressure regulator to the system and the box with the solenoid valves but i have no backflow valve to shut off. Any advice?

Have you found the water line shut off at the street?

@@dannyjohnsonsgarage yes but it shuts the water to the house too. After the water meter there’s the shut off water line valve then there’s a pressure regulator for the sprinkler system that goes to a box with controller valves with solenoids. But I didn’t see any screws or valves I can manipulate on them

That was the first step I mentioned. It’s a lower voltage but always important to turn the power off

what are those wires coming from them? What if mine are damaged?

Usually the wires are the positive, negative to activate the valve from the valve box. They may be reduced to 12V but it’s still never good to do without turning the power off (or disconnecting the wires at the controller so it doesn’t have power going to them

I have a few sprinklers that are leaking from the head when the system is off. They are at the higher point of the yard so a check valve wouldn’t help. I opened the box and it was full of water just like yours. I have the water to the sprinkler system off right now. Any idea what could cause those sprinklers to keep leaking?
