How to Build a Custom AI App online course - wesgpt.mykajab... Let's turn a Custom GPT (Video Metadata AI) into its very own web application using Bubble and the OpenAI API.
Your online course is not clickable 😢, also do you have a video that goes over your course? If not, that would be great video to make, because nowadays viewers like to watch and told what to do and signup versus reading a landing page.your channel is really good and the info you are presenting is easy to digest. Keep up the good work 👏👏👏
Whoops, I forgot to add the "" - wesgpt.mykajabi.com The video on the course's landing page goes into a bit more detail about what the overall idea is. Maybe I should add this as a video on my channel too 🤔
Wes makes *the best* step by step videos for sure. I bought the course but haven’t really worked through it enough to provide any useful commentary yet. He is adding new and helpful videos regularly to the course. It would be amazing…hint hint…. if Wes offered one on one lessons 🙏✨. I’m definitely his biggest fan 💪👏.
hey wes! all very well? Man, I'm very intrigued by this but I still don't understand some parts, like where does my custom GPT go? I have a custom gpt that I would like to put in an app, as if it were a chat but directed to a certain objective..
I feel like I'm missing a few steps Is there a beginner video on your channel? I made a custom gpt and made it public i was planning to sell it to my audience. But if this makes it better or stronger then I'd want to learn
This way makes it both better and stronger because you have more control. You also get to choose exactly what you want to charge your customers and how you want them to use it. You can learn more by watching the landing page video at: wesgpt.mykajabi.com/ It's an online course and not RU-vid videos because the content doesn't quite fit the channel. Also because of the templates and support 😊
Hi Wes, this is a great video thanks! To clarify, have you managed to integrate a custom GPT directly as shown in 00:32. I understand you have built that specific one in your bubble flow but assuming it was slightly more complex with a knowledge base for example.
Yep, this Custom GPT has been fully integrated into a web app (actually, pretty simply). There's another similar Custom GPT that uses a knowledge base of top-performing video titles. We can use the Assistants API for those complex ones 😊
This is a great video, I'm stuck when testing the call. It's stating I need a parameter { "error": { "message": "you must provide a model parameter", "type": "invalid_request_error", "param": null, "code": null
So the model parameter means which GPT model you're using (GPT-4, GPT-3.5-Turbo, GPT-Vision, DALL-E 3, etc.) You can find all of the possible models on this page - platform.openai.com/docs/models Just make sure you fill in the API call with one of those models. Eg. "gpt-4-0125-preview"
Awesome video!! One thing I’m wondering tho. In a got there is the upload a file function. How can we add an upload a file function to this web app so that we can discuss the file with the ai through the web app? Do you have a video on how to do this? Or perhaps this could be a good next video?
@@GDSMedia27 We can definitely do a PDF natively in Bubble. For the other file types, we'll have to use the Assistants API. Check out these two videos: 1. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xkaeokPVbTA.html 2. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zyui64--hxE.html
Question: I'm a non-techy and got a little lost in your video. I want to run my custom GPTs inside a membership. I'm okay if Bubble is that membership. I have already created several custom GPTs. Does this video explain how to do it? Or is your course better for beginners? I specifically want step-by-step instructions to how to take my previously created GPTs and run them inside my membership. Thanks!
Hi. I know you offer a course on how to do this--do you ever actually do the app design/set-up for people if they have an idea and the prompts ready to go? If so, how costly would that be?
Hey, Lisa! This is actually an idea I've been floating around (because some others have requested it too). Can you contact me at heywesfrank@gmail.com with your GPT idea so that I can budget it? 😊
@@WesGPT thanks! Why would anyone use flutterflow then instead of bubble then? I’m new to the no code scene and I’ve been trying to get the hang of flutterflow because it seems like people say it’s more powerful, but you’ve definitely pushed me towards bubble.
@@vv4g I have no experience with FlutterFlow so can't really answer your question. I've been using Bubble for almost 7 years now and it's so, so powerful. Never had the need to switch!
Usage costs for OpenAI - yes, but it's pay-as-you-go. Which means you can scale your pricing with usage so that you're always making a profit. For Bubble, it's a set $32/month (just like other website builders). You probably won't need a higher plan until you have 100s of customers. Marketing is always free if you make content 😉
@@celilsemisamerkiner9433 Not yet because: 1. Not available yet (should be soon, though) 2. Will only start for US customers (no word on when international customers will get paid) 3. You STILL have to find your audience on the Marketplace, so might as well use your own app haha
I am quite confused as to where exactly the custom gpt is added to Bubble and embedded in the app? It looks like you created a new video title generator on Bubble and connected it to OpenAI rather than your Custom GPT? Am I missing something? Sorry I would really appreciate a clarification. I will create a custom gpt using my data and then I would like to build an app and connect it to that particular customgpt I created. Sorry I could not locate the part where you connect it to your own customgpt. Thank you!
Let me try to clarify things for you! A Custom GPT is basically just ChatGPT that's been pre-prompted with specific instructions (so that you don't have to write it out each time). But they also gave us a few cool features like the ability to upload a knowledge base of files that the model can read and interpret before responding. Building a Custom GPT on Bubble is basically bypassing ChatGPT all together. We use their official API which has less system prompts and gives us full control over the outputs. We can also turn these apps into businesses by finding our own customers and keeping our own data. The API has a feature called the Assistants API - this feature allows you to upload documents to an Assistant and then you can call on that Assistant in your app. This is basically the "Knowledge Base" feature that you see when building Custom GPTs inside of ChatGPT.
