thank you so much. I had no idea how important the drum loops were to make different sections. and I was trying to make them on my own rather than using pre sets. I think that's why I felt so stuck in my song. thank you again! Awesome video and charisma subscribed! 😊

Yeah, the drums can really help differentiate those sections. And it gives your real drummer a better idea of what you're looking for if you're going to have real drums.

Any time im practicing im recording myself bc i have a tendency to randomly play something cool but by the time you pull the phone out you cant seem to play it the same way that was the power of pure spontaneity. Not to mention what i like to do is keep the initial riff playing like you and ill keep doing takes and playing it with slight variations and then decide which I like best or whatever.

This is always how i record guitar, have 3 tracks , one panned to the left and one panned to the right and than record everything on the third track thats still in the middle so its louder ....lots of recording..hahaha. But Jason did you know that you can have EZ drummer create a complete song structure based. On the loop you like? Just set the tempo, drag the loop into the ‘song creator’ choose a construction for a song and it creates an intro, verse, pre chorus, chorus, bridge etc.....supereasy
