I hope this was useful! Comment your typing speed down below. And if you're interested, check out my keyboard brand Lightmode here: go.aliabdaal.com/typingvid
Oh god. I was going to comment how ordinary the keyboard looked! I’d have assumed you for a split keyboard user. Honestly you cannot claim it’s the pinnacle of ergonomics’!
I watched your previous video about typing speeds around 3 months ago. Started with 55-60 wpm and currently at 85-90 wpm. It really works, just gotta trust the process and keep on practicing.
@@IWatchThemforYou -day 26 month 08 i'm trying to improve my typing speed "wpm" i never had done none of these techniques,i have 46 wpm i'll try increasing it up.
Hi Ali, I just wanted to share how your content has helped me improve my typing skills. About half a month ago, I came across your older post on typing and decided to put your tips into action. I started practicing daily, and I'm thrilled to say that I've already progressed from 30 words per minute to 70 words per minute! I honestly didn't expect to see another video from you on typing so soon, but I'm grateful to have found it. It's always so refreshing to learn new techniques and hacks to enhance our skills. Thank you so much for all the valuable content you put out. Your passion for self-improvement and knowledge-sharing is truly inspiring! Keep up the fantastic work!
I was trying to learn and speed up 100+wpm. Just watching your previous typing video. After practicing 1 and half ywar now my highest typing is 86wpm. Nd I am improving by practicing day by day. Thanks a bunch, Ali☘️💐
I took touch typing seriously 3 years ago. I can tell I can type at least 90 / 100 wpm in almost ANY text I come across. This has been amazing, I don't have to keep looking at the keyboard, I just place my thoughts on the computer and it just flows. I'm so thankful for touch typing, it's made my life easier
125 WPM here! Trying to get even higher though. I want 150. I could type 70 - 80 WPM consistent before, but I was not typing with the correct methods using all of your fingers. Practiced for about one hour each day for two weeks or so and got my typing speed using the proper method from 20WPM at the start all the way to where I am now. For anyone with a 'slow' typing speed, just keep going! You will be surprised how easy you find many things as long as you have a bit of determination and power through them!
I watched this video back in June and began to practice typing. I started at 27 wpm and now we are in the beginning of August and I just reaced 53 wpm.😊
A great video! I used to be obsessed with typing, I am a little bit less obsessed, but I am indeed in that speed range of 65-75 wpm. Starting from here would be easy and require a little bit of practice to get to the goals like 80 wpm, then 90 wpm, then 100 wpm, then 110, 120, 140 and eventually to your level.
I like keyboards with numbers on the right hand side working on cash registers and working in a call centre where you need to have numbers is very helpful

Actually, my typing improved after watching your old video some time ago about typing. I started by practicing 30mins daily and then I went from 35WPM to 85WPM now. Thanks to you 👍
This video is great! I learned to type with a typewriter at school. We had the keyboard on the blackboard in front of the class. So we didn’t look down!
I have been watching some videos on that topic for the past days because I am stagnating at 110 WPM. This video comes at the perfect time. Thanks, Ali 🙂
I have been typing the wrong way (my own way) for so long but I am trying to get touch typing down so I can get a data entry job so I have been practicing for 2 days so far :') this video is awesome btw, thank you !
Hi Ali, I appreciate all the valuable content you create on productivity. I noticed that your new mechanical keyboard is priced at €149. While I’m sure it’s a quality product, I feel that there are many similar keyboards available on platforms like Amazon for a lower price, which might be more accessible to a wider audience. I believe your main goal is to enhance productivity, and making products more affordable could help more people benefit from them. Just a thought from a loyal viewer. Keep up the great work! Best regards
What is everyone’s type of keyboard that resulted in your highest wpn? I have a standard mechanical keyboard, and low profile mechanical keyboard, and Apple’s dreaded butterfly switch keyboard. I was surprised my least favorite keyboard (the butterfly switches) resulted in my fasted typing speed. Low profile mechanical - 75 wpm standard mechanical - 80 wpm Butterfy - 98 wpm
I'm excited to be here in your channel and I'm interested in learning more about investing and saving up for my retirement but am a little confused about the whole process. Any advice or tips to get me started up would be greatly appreciated
Sir , I don’t think your keyboard is fairly priced for a consumer in India. The ideal price would be at least 40-50% below the current price of INR 13,900. If thats available i am ready to buy.
I can't stand swivel chairs, which most office chairs are. I find that my back hurts more with them. I grew up a figure skater, who jumped one way and developed back muscles that are quite lopsided, so when I sit, I find that I have a tendency to swivel towards one side or sit to one side of the chair and my mid back hurts by the end of the day. It's really hard to find an office chair that does not swivel, though... especially one that is otherwise adjustable.
@aliabdaal I feel like you would love Vim motions. Consider learning Vim motions and use the Vim plugin in your favourite text editors or switch to Neovim entirely.
As an ex programmer I want you to relieve some of you: 70 WPM is enough, 100 is good, more is just necessary if you really really feel you need to type even faster. You probably don't. Because you can type as fast as you can think. So improvement from 30 WPM to 70 WPM would do wonders for you. But don't feel sad by getting flexed by people with 130, 150, 170 WPMs.
In high school, I used to challenge my friends to typing speed contests, and I consistently came out on top. It's just a nostalgic memory now, but my typing has slowed down since I'm away from my computer.
Moonlander or Kensis split keyboard if you want proper ergonomics. Custom mechanical keyboards are a trend just like gamer chairs. Neither of which are ergonomic at all.
What a great video. This is a totally random tip question, regarding the "90-degree angle" rule, let's call it - let's say you're very short (or tall, I suppose would be equally problematic), how do you accomplish this posture? If you raise the height of your chair, your feet aren't on the floor. If your feet are on the floor, your arms and elbows aren't correct. Of course, the adjustable height desk, but aside from this, is it even possible?
Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Hi I enjoyed this video I’m younger and I’m learning touch typing for school and other stuff I am left handed are there any tips you have that can help me improve
I might be weird but I can type faster if I slouch. My arms are more relaxed, it seems a more comfortable angle for me. I did also read that despite popular belief, slouching back in your chair is actually more favourable to your back, particularly over long periods.
Is a mechanical keyboard better or a membrane keyboard cause I have got a gaming mechanical keyboard or I have a wireless keyboard that I think is a membrane so can you give me a suggestion please I would love that thank you
Since increasing my typing speed, I've run into the problem of also capitalizing the second letter of a word instead of just the first letter. I can't seem to break it. Any advice?
Ok, I accepted Don't use a keyboard so that you can do kinds of stuff fast. But could you please help me understand how can I navigate through the web browser view and click internal links without using the mouse..?? Im tired by using the Tab button for too much time to navigate the required link click.
Is there any software which can provide us speed , by typing our own data. Software which do not provide in built typing data rather we can type an data?
@@shravanmadhyasta3269 I feel going fast but I feels hasty and I make mistakes. When I am a little slow and calm I type in rhythm but stuck at 70 with it.
