Hey guys! I’ve been working from home recently (like most of you!) and some days, just not putting any styling product in my hair. So I decided to show you guys my FULL start-to-finish curly hair routine (wash, deep con, style).👇🏽
In this video you’ll see how I use our:
✅ 3-Step System (shampoo, conditioner, all-in-one styler)
✅ Deep Conditioner & Repair (note: I deep con once every 2 weeks for maintenance, you may need to do more/less depending on your hair needs)

So I have 3b super duper long hair & I just got my kinky curly in the mail maybe 2 weeks ago. Oh my goodness let me tell you I AM IN LOVEEEEE! I can't even explain how much I'm obsessed your products! I super love the conditioner too! Next I wanna try the deep conditioner & the shampoo for sure! Also something I've noticed is my hair definition lasts so much longer, way longer than it ever has. On my wash day which is about day 5 its a little frizzy but still so pretty & defined. I've NEVER gotten such great results with ANY hair products & I've tried so so many! I'm literally NEVER buying anything else. This stuff is AMAZING! btw THE KEY IS MAKING SURE YOU USE ALOT OF WATER! IT NEEDS TO BE DRIPPING WET! XOXO

I'm 69 years old. My hair is silver grey and very curly (I don't know the type of curl) it's very thick and coarse and sort of ringlet curls but it frizzes easily if I put nothing in it after washing. I would love to see some videos with people like me using your product. I've bought the curly products and love them but I still feel unsure about how to use them.

I just got my first set of LUS products, yesterday, and used them today. I'm about half dry, now, and I'm loving the way my hair is looking, so far!!! Gorgeous curls, smooth and soft with very little frizz (what frizz is there is because I was messing around too much. I'm still getting used to doing my hair curly, on purpose, so I'm kind of experimenting with different techniques)! I love it, and I'm totally excited about how my hair is going to look when I've got my technique down! My hair is mostly wavy, with everything from type 1 (yes, I have some bone straight hair, right at the back of my head, underneath all the other hair) to 3A curls in it.

Great video. I struggle with the product out of laziness, I spend only 5 minutes on my hair after a shower. I have similar hair type. Gonna try this method on a weekend.

Hey great video! Your hair looks amazing! This really helps because the first time I used product on my curly daughter we had a bit of frizz . But that was because I didn’t know what I was doing. Products work perfect when you use them properly ( wet hair first, detangle , brush, squish)!

I've been using LUS wavy products for almost 2 years and I LOVE them. My curls are perfectly healthy and I love the way they look now, plus my daughter is learning to love her own wavy "mess" as well. But can you PLEASE bring back the hairdryer! I was just about to buy one!!!

I really wish you guys sold sample or trial sizes. My hair is super picky and I wish I could try all three types of stylers to see which one works best. And make sure I don't have a reaction to it (I have allergies). It's the only reason that I haven't bought your products. I can't afford to make a commitment and be stuck with products that I don't use. I totally understand and respect a no return policy, but there should be some way to try a product first then.

I have struggled with getting the process down! You guys suggested that I get the curly and kinky set! I did and I also have been using the 3 step process, the deep conditioning and the elixir oil! Overall, I love the products but I just can’t get the frizz and dryness to subside! Any suggestions, team?? I love y’all and I love the products!!

hun, you're not using enough water. it should literally be dripping wet & fully brushed in. the way it looks wet is how it will look dry so keep adding water & brushing in product until it looks smooth. That's the key to this product... LOTS OF WATER! :)

You should finger detangle with the shampoo, and then use a brush, not a comb, and brush the conditioner through. When applying the leave-in, you can use your fingers as long as you work it through your hair completely. Do the while still in the shower to help you keep your hair wet enough during the application process. Trust me, even just using the brush for the conditioner will make a huge difference, no matter what brand you use.

Also, you should go on their Facebook if you haven't already. Their customer service is phenomenal. Not once have I seen any of them be rude or snippy with a customer. They ARE Canadian, after all!

Directly after the shower do you just plunk the hair into the turban? How do you dry your hair? I would have loved to see what you did immediately after you stepped out of the shower with your hair. I’m stuck doing my hair the way I’ve done it since my deva curl days haha

Hi Alura! You can wrap your hair in the cotton t-shirt towel once you have applied your styler. If you apply your styler in the shower, then yes! 🙌 Email our team if you have more questions.

I normally don’t put regular conditioner on before I deep conditioner put in this video you put both. Does that over moisturize you’re hair or is that the recommended way when deep conditioning? Wash, condition, then deep condition?

Hi Lizette, it just truly will depend on the state of your hair currently. 💖 We love using our Deep Condition and Repair after steps 1 and 2 as it's an express formula to give added moisture/repair and other great benefits. If the hair is damaged from heat/color treating, this is a great way to re-vammpppp the curls and give them life back with each use! 😉

After step 3 dries, my hair is kinda crispy. If I scrunch it, the crispiness goes away, but that's when I get frizzies. What can I do to prevent that?

Hey Nina! Less is more with our formulas. Try decreasing the amount of styler you are using and adding more water into your routine. 💕

It says my hair is curly but it gets super frizzy. I ordered the sample size of the curly product. I love the product but at the end of the day it still does get a bit frizzy. Should I just purchase the kinky product? Hope to hear from you soon! I love this product already!! So weightless and it smells great! Also, when I shower I HAVE TO wash my hair (I shower every day). What is an alternative to having to at least condition my hair while in the shower?

Was just wondering whats the purpose of wrapping your head with a T-shirt once you're done washing your hair?

Hi Saeda! 💕 For many with similar hair types to our Founder, Sahar in the video, wrapping the hair helps to keep the moisture in after washing without the hair drying out too fast before styling. Some like to do their hair after they do their other routine post shower (skin care, makeup, get dressed) It's truly personal preference! 😊 You can always style in the shower right away if you prefer!

Hi Samra, it's truly personal preference. Many of our customers are able to get multiple days of great results using their LUS 3-step system on wash day. 😊 With each step, the ingredients in our formulas are water activated and looove plenty of water. If you find your hair is more fine/holds water well (takes forever to dry) try giving your wet hair a gentle squeeze then add a few drops of water to your LUS in-hand, rub together then work through. 💕

I have a question. Im new to Lus and new again to curly hair, I've been wearing my hair straight for 26 years, with keratin treatments and flat irons. So my hair is wavy, frizzy and curly and straight on the ends ugh, I purchased the Curly all in one. Today my hair is part frizzy part curly. I currently use it's a 10 miracle. can i mix this with lus all in one? or will that not work?

Hey love! You can always give it a try, but we can't guarantee the results, since the formula is different than our products. Since it has different ingredients and the formula itself is something we are not familiar with it would be hard to say.

For hair masks do we rinse w just water or w shampoo & conditioner? Also, what's your opinion on brushing hair & Denman brush? I was told to never brush but to use my fingers on wash day, but I'm seeing tons of videos using diff brushes

With our Deep Condition and Repair formula, you would just rinse out with water and then style as you normally would. 😊 Brushing your curls is totally personal preference. If you're trying to smooth the hair as much as you can while styling, a brush can really help.

Hi China! Our Shampoo and Conditioner (steps 1 and 2) are the same for all curl types. 😊 The only thing that varies is our All-in-One formula, step 3. We carry three options: Wavy, Curly and Kinky-Coily. Sahar, our Founder in the video will still use our Steps 1 and 2 then follow with our Kinky-Coily All-in-One to style as shown for those ultra-defined, hydrated results. 💕

Hi Yesenia! Our products are concentrated so we suggest using much less if you have fine or easily weighed down hair. Otherwise, the oil is great for wavy hair 💕

Hi Ashley! Sahar, our Founder in the vid here, doesn't use any added heat protectant but you can if you'd like! Our formulas contain Shea butter which naturally contains a very small amount of heat protection but not a ton. 😊

Unless I brush my hair in the shower it pulls out the curls. I tried the curly on what I was told was 3b hair but my hair went flat on top even diffusing it. Does this product just take time to get used to? I wanna love it because it feels and smells fantastic in my hair but I may have to try coily.

Hi Heidi! Great question! It is all about patience, trial and error, and figuring out what works for you! Have you brushing your hair in the shower while you still have the conditioner on your hair? I have 3b curls but my hair is smoother or absorbs water easier than this persons hair and my curls pull out easily. I don’t want to offend anyone but I am white I have to wet comb with conditioner in and rinse and apply curly hair products to it when still wet squeezed but not towelled. Other wise I get frizzywave , I haven’t tried this line specifically because it contains a ingredient I am allergic to, but I have to do the same thing no matter what products I have if it is thicker like her kinky coily one then really eat hair if runny like it has more water slightly less wet or i have to use more

@@LUSBrands thank you 😊 it Seams like my hair has curly and wavy spots ( I went back to hot ironing my hair for six months -big mistake) but its almost like I leave the house with curls and through the day it gets frizzy and a bunch of straight pieces. Then I try to refresh it and if I don't completely soak my hair it gets hard .I've been putting the product in my hand and run water on it and rub it over the hair. But im also adding other stuff so - wahhh😭.very frustrated.
