Very helpful! For all of you confused it works you need to make it a .json file AFTER you wrote "{"DFIntTaskSchedulerTargetFps": 1000}" into the notepad.

i usually put the clientsettings folder copied on my desktop for it. so every wednesday i just copy the folder and put in the roblox player folder. just a tip for redoing it every week
@savageclasher1014 just copy the folder named "clientsettings" to your desktop so you don't have to remake it every week. Seems pretty self-explanatory to me

This works perfectly but you should be warned because this causes roblox to use up your cpu more (my experience at least), when capped at 60 it was using like 3% of my cpu and when i unlocked it it was using up 23%. so, if you do care about that stuff i recommend just waiting until Roblox actually releases the official fps unlocker update edit: should've mentioned lowering the fps cap does help lower cpu usage
Thanks this tutorial is the best, also there is this new roblox fps optimizer and let me tell you how to access it (PC Only) First go to the roblox menu then settings then you will see this fps thingy (maximum fps is 240 fps) and am telling the in game settings.

i'd advise to not set the cap to high, or you can make your cpu overheat. i personally like to set it to my screen's max refresh rate (144 hz), but you can set it to a higher number if you want, just not too high.
@@feignant2lv I used to use it one time once. But sometimes it glitchs and you need to put again, it's really very sometimes, i literally only had to do 1 time in a week.
The reason why that is, could be because of 3 main reasons: 1.) Your pc/laptop isn't strong enough to go over 60 fps 2.) you have a 60 Hz monitor 3.) You didn't click on save when closing the ClientAppSettings.json folder. You do this, by first clicking on the x in the tab, NOT the main x of the whole folder. After clicking on the x, you will get a popup asking you to save the changes. That should work. Also, to boost your fps ingame, try going to your windows graphics settings, and add Roblox Player to it. then, when you click on it, click on options, and then on high performance, or, if you have more than one GPU and one is better than the other, chose ''a specific GPU''. What to do if the fps indicator works through f4 shift, and not f5 shift? in roblox...
