It’s natural. It happens over time. When the flow of your water slows down then it’s clogged enough to do this. I do this like every 2 months just because.
I love using baking soda and vinegar to unclog a drain. It works very well. Of course, it works best if you can get the baking soda to go down into the drain and then pour the vinegar in there. Then it really starts to bubble and work it's way further into the drain.
Tried this and it worked! But only after the second time. The first time it didn't work, but the second time I called a plumber and worked beautifully.
Another tip to unblock a sink! Fill the sink with the hottest water from the faucet or boiling water then pour dish soap then open the plug so if it doesn't work try the baking soda and vinegar trick and if that doesn't work snake the drain!
Today I faced this problem again & just wonder how psychic RU-vid knew this & recommended this video! I used to use a hand pump & sometimes those chemicals but now I'll try what you suggested & thanks I wish this will work! (Wed 10 Nov 2021 16h02)
So this works? Show us with an actually backed up sink full of filthy water. Then this doesn't work as the soda just floats on the backed up water and doesn't go down to the clog.
Dont pour hot boiling water in your sink...Hot water makes pipes expand and it can cause cracks in pipe. Baking Soda and Vinegar are great though...just no Hot boiling water
How can you unclog a drain when it’s further down . I tried te snake and it didn’t go far enough to unclog. Does the baking soda and vinegar also work further down the drain?
Seems you just pushed the clog more down stream. But definitely open the pipes n check. Sometimes a snake can skip pass a partial clog leaving you confused
