Hey mate, I think it depends on the version of your e-bike and esp. on the charge level of the battery. The 36V battery is charged until 42V and then it is when the bike is the fastest (but it will be only for a short time because the battery declines to 36V). I tried it after unboxing and maybe my battery was not fully charged when delivered. Also consider that the display on the Fiido D4S is not always correct, it usually shows a higher speed. You can test it if you use your smartphone GPS to measure the real speed when riding. It is still plenty fast esp. for the type of bike - at least for me. Also on some diplays you can change the wheel size (hold both buttons when turning on) and then it could be more accurate...

yes hold the throttle. but as you noticed this might not work for all Fiido because the controller can be different. to make sure contact the manufacturer, usually they will be happy to answer you 😀 let me know if you get it working

Hey no I actually tried this straight after your original video.. give an e2 flash but changes nothing.speed stays same at 25kmph

@@Irishjoe yess the idea is that it changes the speed but display stays at 25... you can also contact Fiido directly they are usually nice.

Yeah both brake lever and throttle back, then switch on. Works on all Fiido models regardless of 1st gen, or 2nd gen. It's to do with the EU and US law with the sale of the Fiido ebike. In the US the speed limit is higher so the units sold to US Territories are set to 20, and those sold to EU set to 15.5mph

Hey mate when did you buy your bike? Is it a yellow display you have (not like the blue I have)? This is the new display and needs another sequence to unlock. Please let me know I will try to find out!

@@mychael1980 Hallo ok cool, probier bitte das folgende (ist oben im Video auch gezeigt): beide Buttons zusammen drücken bis es blinkt dann zuerst kurz oberen button und nachher kurz den unteren button drücken jetzt sollte die Anzeige richtig funktionieren kannst du es probieren und mir dann Bescheid geben? (habe ja leider die neue Version nicht zum Testen)

this is difficult with stock controller. Some even put an Arduino to simulate throttle. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zm2OAK5EG5M.html I would recommend if possible to change controller and display if you are able because it is more convenient. But of course you can use the hack or other hacks but a new controller will give you many other benefits and full control.
