I like this method, a hybrid between the old days and the current system. Headshots to pre-mastery to mastery challenges Straightforward and without the arbitrary roadblock of challenges locked behind weapon level (which is good because here guns will have 40-50 levels). Overall i think the grind time will be on par with the current system or slightly slower but it will feel better paced since you don’t have dead times where you’re just leveling up the gun.

like the experimenting and middle ground system bo6 is going with alot in this game. alot of traditional content mixed in with new concepts. camos being easier to grind not based on weapon level is a huge plus

oh it will be. for headshots, ONLY the last bullet counts. Meaning you get 3 headshots and a kill, that's 1 point. You'll need 100. That's AWFUL. I think leveling would be faster tbh.

excited for this, I cant see many people actually getting the Warzone mastery camo though, it both looks worse than the other two and will fundamentally change how players interact with the game mode as a whole due to the unlock requirement for some camos. Either way theres def gonna be some mad lads getting all 3 asap

I remember my excitement when I got Dark Matter in Black Ops 3 (and the Hero Gold armour!). Excited to go for it again for sure. Headshots will be a bore chore in MP and probably a lot of frustrating hard core games as usual for the off meta ones.

Nah, even BO3 with jetpacks was pretty easy. Getting 100 headshots only took like 2.5 games on average. Have a feeling it will take about 30 minutes per gold gun in Bo6 since weapon levels aren't required anymore.

Once you get in a rhythm getting sniper headshots isn't bad. Should take way less time than getting a sniper max rank.

I love the removal of levels, as that was always dumb IMO. I like the other changes, except the base headshot only challenges. With the Omni movement mechanics, requiring headshots will really slow the game down IMO….would rather it be a higher number of standard kills over headshots.

Not really tbh, it'll just make people actually go for hesdshots instead of just spray'n'pray for their lives. Plus, I like the headshots. It's actually something that'll end up improving your aim with omni-movement. Because if you're actively going for headshots, you'll end up improving recoil control AND your movement, one especially on longer range fights and the other especially when the enemy is right in your face

@@Romelander No, I want to do actual challenges for camos. Like the OP said, removing the level requirement but having to get 100 (or maybe more) headshots is just as annoying. Maybe even more annoying. There's no headshot damage multiplier either this time. So, meh. I'm gonna do it anyway, I'd just prefer to have more fun while doing it.

love that levelling up is not their anymore and headshots returning always found that system to be decently hard but not too hard and then keeping the MW2/3 system in it is also cool so we still have those camos for all the guns and new camos every season.

The only thing I have a problem with is that it is 100 headshot kills and for around what is going to be 36 gun will mean that you need 3,600 headshot kills which is insane and would take years

Call me crazy.. headshots are extremely tedious because ONLY the last bullet that hits them count as a headshot. You can land 3 headshots and get the K, but only the bullet that kills counts. So hundreds of head shots?!? No thanks. I rather level up the gun. This is gonna be awful and y'all hyping it up smh.

It was especially annoying when those were locked behind the higher weapon levels and having to grind a few hours for it despite a few games prior to it being available I could have unlocked it in a single match.

That will just confine the player base to small maps, like the grand mastery in MWII and MWIII. Make it weapon xp based like the prestige camos in MWII and MWIII that way you can work on that grind for any game mode.

Meh... I honestly prefer the Dark Aether camo from Cold War Zombies. Dark Matter and Nebula should've been reversed like, Nebula for MP and Dark Matter for Zombies. Nebula just looks uninspired: it's Borealis but animated... Wow... Not exciting in the slightest.
