Not really, the difference between the next gen and only was just graphical down grade, the cod engine isn’t too taxing, if you looked at the graphical differences between the old gen and the current one, for MW2 it was huge but the last gen held their own, just means you won’t get any advantages like 120fps or the 60 depending on gamemode

@@carlosmartinez3020Not really? Have you actually played MW3 on the original Xbox One? Because if you did, you would see how bad it is. It barely hits 10 FPS on most maps and has huge input delay. There's no reason for the original Xbox One and PS4 to get the game other than to scam the customers.

as a pc player my plan of action is 1. play the beta 2. play the first month of release on game pass, see if i like the game enough 3. if i like the game but not massively i'll stick to gamepass, if i absolutely love it i will upgrade to the vault edition and launch it trough steam this way i'll only ever miss out on the woods operator pack which honestly i dont care much about

As most people are, I am most definitely tired of paying for cod every year. And hearing it would be on gamepass was a breath of fresh air although I had a feeling they would limit content based on what gp subscription you have. Also something kinda important but not really since it isn't really confirmed at all yet and thus may never really happen is the fact that there were rumors that vault edition might get access to zombies early + campaign. Which i mean i wouldn't be surprised if they did this after all they did the same thing for when mw3 came out they kept adding bonuses to vault edition so that may something to keep in mind.

I dont think you get to play multiplayer on gane pass core. Game pass core is like gold - it lets you play online but i read that as you need to own the game first then game pass core lets you play online.

Hope this helps to clarify I believe the black cell portion of the Vault edition is quite literally just the black cell, when purchasing black cell regularly you get 20 Tier skips. So in this case it’s simply listing the contents of the Blackcell: 2400CP, 20 Tier Skips, and more (referring to the tracers and new operator skins) not sure if this is correct but that’s my take. Hope it helps!

It is a bit vague on their wording but that's how it has usually worked in the past with the subscription

I am a PlayStation owner but I understand how it works. On PlayStation to play online you need to buy a subscription service called PlayStation plus essential. On Xbox it’s the same thing it is called Game pass core. However this is the service that just enables online multiplayer, xbox also offers another service called Game pass console, which is a service that let’s you borrow a whole catalogue of games (kinda like Netflix) and this is the service that includes call of duty black ops 6. It’s just saying you still need to buy game pass core in order to play online that’s it. Oh yeah Game pass pc is not for xbox players it’s mainly for only pc players so just ignore that😅. Lastly Game pass ultimate is essentially just a bundle of all them at a discounted price. GAME PASS CORE = allows online play GAME PASS CONSOLE = Catalog of games GAME PASS PC = Only for pc GAME PASS ULTIMATE = ( GAME PASS CONSOLE + GAME PASS PC + GAME PASS CORE) Ps: I hope this clarifies things.

Espresso said that with Core you can play MP and Zombie but not campaign. If people are only interested in playing MP or Zombie it's almost free since you would already have to pay for core (like you said) to play online even if you purchase the game.

And because it also says you don't have access to the "full game" it doesn't specify if that's campaign only or multiplayer + zombies as well. So core players might not even get access to bo6 at all, it is unclear.

I would just like to point out that if you buy the vault edition upgrade, you will own that content even if your gamepass either runs out or you cancel it. You will own that piece of content, but obviously if you don't own bo6 you won't be able to use it. TL/DR, If you buy the vault edition upgrade, it'll be on your account ready to use if you either renew your subscription, or just buy the game outright

I will say for most games nowadays you do not own it, you own a copy that basically functions as a right to play the game that can be taken away at anytime by the developer, its in many game EULAs. Especially since most people get digital downloads of games now instead of buying a physical disk of the game.

So if after I upgrade and I stop paying for game pass do I still have the game or no? I would think no but this language of upgrading to the vault edition makes me believe I do? No from what I gather is that if you cancel your subscription then you will lose access to the game regardless of wether you purchased the vault edition.. if you literally only want to play one game(CoD) then I ld suggest just buying the game outright. Game pass if you want to play many more games is the way to go

its the same thing as it used to be, buy Xbox live gold (core) and you can play online, buy gamepass and have access to their catalog of games (offline unless you have game pass core). they are separate unless you have ultimate which is both. The only thing that is vague is game pass core having multiplayer access (doesn't clarify whether its access to bo6 multiplayer or Xbox live multiplayer), it says you don't have access to the full game but doesn't specify if that's campaign only or multiplayer + zombies as well.

I think the biggest issue for me and probably my dealbreaker is the 300GB size and Always Online requirement. Price and extra content are always up to ones own personal interpretation, but I do not want to be forced to always be online. I dont want to texture stream, and every cod that had that feature, it was optional. We dont even know how this is going to affect Campaign and Zombies. If I lose connection in the middle of either of those modes, am I just going to get booted out of that back to the main menu and lose all that progress? Are we not going to be able to pause in Solo Zombies? Because I am an avid Solo Zombies player. This and also the mentioning of "engagement systems" in the direct, doesnt enstill confidence in me. I want to like BO6. I want to LOVE it! But systems and requirements like that are a hard sell for me. Regardless of how much they ask to buy the game. There's also the ridiculous size of 300GB! which in itself is a major criticism. But to each their own and that is just my opinion.

Not buying any of em this year. Gamepass standard for me. The vault looks to be the worse one they’ve done so far. All the weapon blueprints are absolutely goofy. Feels good! Don’t plan on buying anything from the store this year too (assuming I even play the game a lot, haven’t liked a Bo game since BO2) and also haven’t bought anything from the MW3 store since the killed DMZ.

But if you buy the vault edition via game pass surely that technically should give you the game regardless the subscription But the subscription runs out ya can't play online cos you need the subscription to play online

And everyone needs to know this for everyone for alpha and beta. The sec it goes live it will be a shit show. When is was just PS it wasn’t great now Imagen 3 different platforms trying to run it at once. This COD is gonna be hated more than others bc they don’t have 1 players testing it so they can fix it before the others come on!
