Did you get it to work? I can't get the developer thing to open in game

The first time it looks for console, it finds it because it looks in the file "downwoards" (equal to pressing the down arrow). To find the developer after you have to search in the file "upwards" (equal to pressing the up arrow) because the developer setting is above the console setting, but, by default, notepad searches for stuff just "downwoards". I hope you get what I mean.

I got a 60 percent keyboard and it doesn't have the key below the escape button like it would with a regular keyboard

since I used to drive only in daytime, i no longer can do this suddenl, though it had been working for a few years ever since I started playing ATS and ETS2, and it disappeared/stopped working in both :(

Hey buys, mine recently stopped working at all. I don't know what had gone wrong, I formatted my pc, then reinstalled v1.46, and it just was no longer working...

Your game or the Dev Console? If it was the Dev Console you may need to go back in the configuration file and see if it changed. I had one of mine change one time that took away all the icons for like the cameras in the fuel stops.

You also have to change 'g_console "0"' to "1". Otherwise the dev console won't open.

i save the file and ive been had dev mode but the console will save until i get in game. when i get in game my console Disables and is no longer 1 its 0

Can you change it back to 1? You should be able to open the file and save it out of the game. Weird

If everything was set up correctly it should open the console menu.

for whatever reason whenever i press ~ it does nothing edit: i fixed it by deleting the cache folder

Check and make sure the number you changed stayed, I've had my game file doing weird things lately

For some reason, the console won't come up for me. Both have been changed in the config file, yet the console doesn't pop up.

I haven’t been on my ATS in about a month, but it was answering in the configuration file so as far as i would guess… it should still be active and work like it should.
