I just realized that I went over the jam maker very quickly, but basically you can make jam from any fruit that comes from a tree, but you can't make jam from coffee beans, almonds or cacao!
In one of his stream someone was talking about the golden beetle it resembles Horned Hercules in ACNH judging by the photo it appears as night. I'm missing fae animal photos and because so busy hard to find the time to fish.
For the ones you don't use on a daily basis, you could just make a chest go keep them in and pull them out as needed? But not sure how helpful that would be if you use them all often
@@peacexchaos91 even with doing that i have 15 lumber, 15 ingot, 10 seed, 6 gem, 3 thread, and 1 textile running pretty much 24/7. That's a LOT of real estate
i heard they r gonna fix this in the future ..make the maker easier.... they will also add more dialogues for the towns folk .. etc cause a lot people where complaining how bland the town folks even ur wife dialogue doesnt change .. after marrying her/him
They really need to combine some of these makers and add an upgrade system to them so they can process different tiers of the same item and add the ability to process more than one thing at a time.
I have a feeling that this game is going to be used as a beta for the next one. It seems like Covid made the development difficult, and the devs are very aware of the issues. Provided the world goes back to some kind of normal, I'm sure they'll take what works here and refine it for the next one.
Or faster and more than one at a time in general. Like the seed maker is my biggest issue on makers since we want to upgrade our crop quality but we can only do one at a time and only makes 2 seeds. by the time it's done with how many i need the season will close to over and can no longer plant them. I'm not sure how this is a beta since the previous SoS games had makers and were leagues better and don't know why they changed it. The old makers were also more pleasant to look at or decorate with.
@@JrockerDiChan666 I'm only speculating, but I think they may have wanted to have a kind of slow progression into mass production, but they didn't implement or balance it correctly. Instead of slowly but surely upgrading and combining the makers like they should have done, they instead make the player work towards a larger version of the original machines. The whole thing strikes me as an incomplete idea.
It looks like nobody commented on this video after the updates, so I'm very happy to say how much of a difference it makes stacking 10 in each maker! It's much more efficient where you don't need as many. It saves time also not having to check them as frequently.
I honestly hope they will fix this aspect of the game. Having to craft things is fun, but there are so many makers and they take so much space! They're also very slow and can only transform a very little quantity at the time, soyou need so many of the same maker. It would be good to have a special place to put them, like a basement or something, so they don't pollute you farm's view... I'm looking forward to the new updates the developers have promised us for April.
Dude you just screw yourself lol if you don’t start using the maker early on you gonna be stuck making so many later. Like I was lazy and only got 3 ore maker and I need like so many iron ores. I wish I made them earlier and pile them up. No ore for the sprinkler, no ore for building stuff 😭
All of your videos have been SO helpful!!! I appreciate you helping folks like me understand the mechanics and nuances of the game. Pretty much if I have a question I come to your videos first and I share them with others too.
Thank you for this. Having the makers stressed me out, because it didn’t feel like I was getting much in return for what I was putting in. I knew about Giant Makers, but I didn’t remember what level it took to get them. Gonna take a while, but it’ll be fine!
It definitely takes a while for the giant makers, I don't even have half of them yet! Just take your time, this game is better enjoyed at your own pace and there's no time limit.😊
As always: very helpful! Thank you! I feel like I'm the only person who was confused with the essence maker (shame on me) but thanks to you I now know the drill :D
Oh, I was confused with the essence maker too at first! I thought each flower would give a different essence, before realizing you could put fruits and bouquets!
Can you make a video of all the foragable items that you have to find and sell before seeds are available and where to find them? Like strawberries in spring in the 2nd area and so on please I cant find the leeks/bunching onions.
I'm glad it helps! This video is a bit outdated as you can now put more than one thing at once in makers (since 1.0.6), which makes it easier, but everything else should still stand!
I've been playing since launch and I still use your guide videos regularly because I forget often and it's an easy way to look it up. Thanks 🎉 I'm so glad the makers were fixed. It's so fun and easy now. I don't need many makers.
I’ve been waiting for this kind of video. Thank you for this 🥰 i’ve been searching for this on google but it only shows few results. I can’t use some of the makers because i don’t know what to put on 😣😂
Thank you! This is super helpful. The makers are really stressful to use and keeping track of everything is difficult. The sheer amount of makers is silly. I have a lot of them unlocked, but have no energy to make the makers and use them (too many steps!). Really hoping they implement a good fix. My hands can't take the million button presses... If they fix the makers, make the dialogue better, and add Clem as a bachelor, the game would be close to perfect. :)
I was throughly enjoying the video, but then I realized that Josh speaks at least three languages while I've been struggling (and failing) for years to learn a second. Now I feel lazy. Great video. Keep it up!
I don't know whether you are from the US or not. But that is one of my biggest issues here. I wish we put a bigger emphasis on languages. Kids in Europe especially begin so early learning multiple languages.
@@HillbillyTrash Yep, I'm an American. I've been trying for years to learn Spanish, but, because I'm doing it on my own and intermittently, I just can't seem to get beyond the basics. Three of my great-grandparents were immigrants here, and all three refused to let their kids speak their native languages. If they had, I might be fluent in Spanish, Sicilian, and French as well as English now. It really is a shame that multiple languages are not emphasized here. America is too full of itself I guess...
@@ZeusTheIrritable Awww thats sad!! So many beautiful cultures get lost here bc of fear. I would love to learn Italian. Lord Id love even more to travel there.
there are actually some clothes that require the yarn (specifically the sweaters and slacks - the brown one takes both brown alpaca cloth and brown alpaca yarn)
Thank you so much for the tips! I’m missing the jam one. It really bothers me that they take soooo much space, I really hope they fix this on the next update by making the regular makers to take in more resources.
thank you so much for this video! I'm not sure about my levels but you can also get makers while doing the cooking challenge, tho it may not be the unlocking process ^^'
I think I had a birthday or two while you were going through the makers. Good videos; bad game that there are so many makers. Half my area 1 is covered in makers. Not even half down the 1st summer.
Thanks for making thid video, the textiles and cloth cobfused me. I realise that making the jam maker as yet to level trees skill. I was hoping to unlock the seasonal areas also I planted cherry seedling in start and realised must of destroyed by accident. I find ingot, lumber, honey and animal products makers keeps me busy.
I really like your videos! Great work 🐾🌲🐄 I can't find any information about how the town evolution is affected by the different materials you give to victor. Like the appearance of the streets or the town hall. Maybe you can make a video about that? 🙈
Thank you so much for all the effort you put into this! This guide will be super helpful!! You mention in the video regular animal products (eggs, milk, etc.) but then the plus versions of them. How do you get those versions. Is it related to relationship you have with the animal?
For the plus version, I'm not quite sure yet if the probability of getting them is linked to the friendship/happiness or to the generation. I'm also trying to figure out for wool animals, if the generation even means anything because there is no star quality for wool. As soon as I figure out these last details I'll make an animal care video!
this game needs a factory like my time at portia if you played the game you will understand an idea like that to make space on the farm don't you agree? instead of putting them around everywhere like that why not make a factory and put all the makers you need in 1 place and craft everything you need in there. plus great video josh.
Thank you for making tutorial videos for this game! I have a question, is there a point to making bouquets or perfumes? It costs money to make them at the flower shop, so do they sell for more? Or are they just intended to be gifted?
the makers are my only real complaint with this game, give me a maker shed over this any day, or they could change it so you only need 1 of each and you upgrade them to be able to do up to 20 items being made at once, or do both, but all the makers in a shed for real estate saving, and make them upgradable instead of needing a bunch of them.
Hell I think they should give us all of that. Having so many makers is time consuming in a fast pace game. I find that between having to talk to the villagers everyday and keeping the makers going after you've watered your crops and tended to your livestock, it leaves no time to do anything else like mining, logging, and fishing. I have been neglecting talking to the villagers so I can get materials. And I try to keep at least 4 of each maker. I might have to get rid of some makers to make the game more time manageable.
Do the giant makers take the same amount of time as the regular sized ones to process the same material? Thanks for the video as always! I appreciate it a lot!
That's definitely on my to-do list! I just have yet to see all the wild animals and I need to get footage for each one of them! 😅 Hopefully sometime soon!
I wish I knew how to streamline and make my makers more efficient, I currently have at least 2 of each type constantly running outside my house and it is the most tedious chore trying to keep them all circulating product... :(
Even if they took a look at how Stardew Valley had them. You could build a warehouse and store all your makers in there or in barns, coops and even in your home.
@@rikkupendragon8372 yes! the sheds are great and you could have the animal product grabbers/makers in the barn/coop so they weren’t cluttering the farm!
i hope they make the makers allow you to stack more stuff inside of them. im fine with them only making 1 item and then collecting it. i just dont want to keep carrying the raw materials around
I keep a chest nearby and dump the excess inside when collecting. Overnight I keep the items i know I’ll in morning like clay or logs. Load em up, dump excess, and check back later.
Hi I really don't understand because I think I'm mining level 3 and logging level 3 I got the titles for everything except 2 titles so I'm not really understanding how to get the different makers sorry josh!
Makers taking up space like this is so annoying. There should have been a building/factory or something to house them all. It's even slightly immersion-breaking for me, to just have a bunch of vending-looking machines around my farm. And that's in a game with fantasy elements. Same thing for storage. Just give me an upgradeable storage building. Not sure how that wouldn't have been more simple in any case in development and for quality of life.
I agree, I wish there was a shed for them, or that they took less than the 2*2 space they're currently occupying. Looking forward to seeing how they're going to improve them with the planned update.
Nope, the store only sell 0 stars crop The only way to get them is from seed makers by using higher stars crop or you can buy from boss sprite but the item is random
My entire third area literally has about 80+ makers in it, and I will leave them there until some kind of patch or change happens to them to make them less intrusive...
Oh crap i didn't realize the limit. I was thinking that limit was for the specific maker, like you could have 20 lumber makers but still have more makers. I will have to get rid of some of my brick makers and lumber makers. That really sucks. I messed that all up.
@@JoshGamingGarden Oh good!! No that is my fault. I just got confused lol i really hope they give us sheds or something lol these things take up so much of our space. Thank you for making this!!
I am pretty lazy i have all my animals on 1 part of my farm (area 2). My makers in area 1 and the crops mushrooms and honey plus fruits trees up the top. I havent been the fastest cause I dont have 20 makers of each and limit myself to 3 or 4 of the major ones. It works for me and that is all that is needed.
This game is meant to be enjoyed at your own pace, don't stress about it! 😊 I also don't have 20 of each makers and my farm is far from being the most productive. The most I have is 6 ingots maker and I hide them behind my chicken coop to keep things pretty. 😆 There is no time limit, so even if you make just 1 ingot per day, it's all fine.
@@1kulik some people like to rush and finish the story as fast as possible then worry about collecting everything like all crops upto 10 star as well as all animals producing 10 star items.
@@JoshGamingGarden I’ve already got the Ingot Makers unlocked , but I’m not at level 10 yet. But thanks thanks for telling me about the level 10 part of that , cuz I’ve haven’t done that yet.
Did you figure it out? If not you unlock it by reaching lvl 2 in logging skill. That's pretty much how to unlock all makers by reaching certain levels in certain skills. Hopefully you figured it out. 😄 they made them easier to use now.
I just started playing Pioneers and the makers suck. The maker mechanics makes this closer to a mobile wherein you have to wait certain periods. I just wish they offered a workbench instead.
Honestly I wish they followed the example of the first story of seasons module of makers and modifying the farm and home. WAY superior than this. I really dislike how this wastes time to make the game feel longer.
