My friend i do not know how i can thank you, you are the best in the world, my phone with locked bootloader started bootlooping and i needed to unlock it to get out, you saved me countless hours of hard work i had on my device, thank you so much, and to everyone reading please do not be like me and backup your data.
Thanks for sharing this info. Very clear instructions. Actually I did this before couple years ago but forgot the steps. I do have to install the usb driver for android though in order to detect the device in fastboot mode.
@@arjunuzumaki2865 you need both adb and fastboot drivers. When the connected phone shows a yellow ! mark (could be under adb or fastboot mode) then you'll have to update the windows driver.
ok i give up! the manual is out dated and all the information have a lot of gaps. im going to quote the manual. " Next, reboot your Smartisan T1 into recovery mode. " Nothing happends, start recovery mode, tried upload the new firmware via adb and ... after android finish the copy from the computer then it sems like its starting to install and its stop all suddedly with an error. You will boot into TWRP Recovery mode.Skip 5 - 7 step if you already have the latest TWRP Recovery In the recovery menu, tap on Install button > Install Image > Select the TWRP Image file from the location where you have moved earlier. I does not work and there is no visual explanation about how to do that. i did on my own copying all the info to the phone an then start in recovery and nothing, same error. Swipe to confirm flash. i did that and that was all. phone restore to defaults , no what? still not able to upgrade the OS. "Now, reboot to recovery mode again. In the TWRP menu, go to Wipe section. Select Advanced Wipe > Select the data, system, vendor, cache. Then swipe to wipe it. " Done , for nothing, still stuck in the whats next to upgrade? "Flash the ROM zip file from the Install option. The system will be mounted already Uncheck it & Remount system and vendor manually. Then flash Gapps zip file as well. " Not applicable because of what i said before. "Finally, reboot your phone into a new system. Wait for it, as the boot process will take a few minutes. That’s it. Enjoy!" And that was the joke of the day. this info i copied from here www.getdroidtips.com/android-10-smartisan-t1/ you will see that aim not lying.

I'm using redmi 8 smartphone and i have installed STOCK ROM Google pixel experience in it. Now i want to relock the Bootloader. My phone has orange fox recovery. Now please guide me how can i relock bootloader using recovery. Can i use ADB Sideload commands by PC ?
when i enter the command "fastboot oem unlock " it says: "... FAILED (remote check password failed!) finished. total time: 0.014s basically it asks me a password... why it didn't ask you the password?! please help me to get that password i would be so grateful
My XIAOMI phone is bootlooping.. I can't go to settings. I tried hard resetting it but won't work. Now I have flash software and firmware but I can't flash it because it's in locked state and I can't change it because my phone is bootlooping. The video doesn't help you because you need your phone working and can go to settings. Dont waste your time
If your phone is bricked then unbricking should be your priority, not unlocking the bootloader (which is already too late)... So yes, this isn't the guide to be checking
My smartphone asking enter Volume up to confirm bootloader unlocked but my volume up not working but my volume button working in volume control after on mobile
I type in fastboot flashing unlock and nothing happens. I type in the rest of the commands and nothing works or happens to my phone after the original list of devices. Am I not opening a file or executing a command before I input such commands?
fastboot oem unlock ... FAILED (remote: password wrong) finished. total time: 0.003s the device is a p9 Lite and it had the oem unlock option active and also the usb debug active before I tryed to flash a new rom with the in system metod of flashing, it flashed sucefully the rom to 100% but now it gets into boot loop, I get huawei logo and it restarts again, the only option I have is to load into fastboot and in fastboot I have phone locked and FRP unlocked but when I try oem unlock it gives me that error msg, I tryed everything cant flash new rom into the stupid phone, for the SP_Flash_Tool there is no scatter file for that fking phone anywere, for Huawei_Smartphone_Multi_Download all the files I got do not work, it always fails flashing the image Is this phone broken should I put it in the bin?
With the boot loop was just disconnecting the phone... But yes, put it in the bin. My P9 is going to accompany yours since Huawei doesn't give the OEM codes that we require to proceed further and a way around is pretty hard (if possible?)
What to do if my phone (Google Pixel 6) has lost its system, and I try to flash it with the new one, but. I can't unlock OEM because my phone can't work without a system, that's why I can't go into the settings. What should I do?
I am facing a problem. While the phone says to press volume up for Yes, it doesn't work. Pressing volume down for No works. I am using Panasonic Eluga Ray 700.

for samsung it doesnt work but i have a way to do it just power off the phone and click the volume up and down only until the phone powers on and long press up button and click it one more time
Why do we need to use adb and put those commands if the OEM Unlock option does exist ? I mean i came here to learn how to Unlock OEM via adb if the option doesn't exis..
OEM unlocking (under developer options) is different from bootloader unlocking. The fastboot oem unlock command here is to unlock bootloader, not to enable OEM unlocking.
I press fastboot oem unlock in cmd das not require but fastboot device and adb device support plis how can unlock oem my phone. My phone is sony x compact docomo Model:SO-02J

@@HovatekTV tried it already both the Qfil and the downloader as mentioned in 2 different instructions I came across I get a few errors under Qfil can't say what those errors are at moment as didn't save the log Most of the instructions I have read on the use of Qfil always refer to a file extension MBN there is several MNB files but the main files that I need to use based on the name of the file and the instructions are actually ELF It's kinda a pain in the ass I'm not so familiar with Qualcomm mobiles I am more used to flashing MTK chips with SPFT If the bootloader is locked would that also affect the flashing via EDL my thinking it should not but I am starting to wonder And I am not totally sure I have the correct firmware because on the Asus website under that model there is so many I think 10 to 15 firmwares some of them are with JP and I ignore those as I need WW version I should mention tho when I tried fastboot I had 2 different versions of the firmware the first one it pretty much went straight to error write protected The second one that has CSC within the firmware details actually had more activity and appeared to be sending data to the phone then suddenly get an error write protected Not sure if that info helps to diagnose a possibility

Hovatek, I am getting the error "access denied" once I try to fastboot devices. I am attempting to downgrade my S9; the One UI Is AWFUL. I've come to THIS step because when I attempt to flash it in Odin, I get the error "auth failed" and OEM unlock is NOT an option. I'm afraid my phone has the highest level of protection. It still has the Samsung Official binary. If the new update wasn't terrible, I wouldn't need to do this! I need to somehow disable security or "trick" my phone that appears to be loaded with preventative methods.
