How To Unlock Car Door Using A Plastic Strap When Locked Out 

I don't know why people are complaining about this video. I just used it to open my PT Cruiser in literally 5 minutes: In my garage I found a 2' piece of plastic box strapping material and a couple of left over plastic shims I had bought for leveling kitchen cabinets. I used the shims to provide a little clearance, slid the strap through the gap as shown in this video, maneuvered it around the knob, pulled up and was done! THANKS DONNIE for the great tip!!!

Locked keys in car at a market parking lot...there was a Dennys around the corner and they gave me a laminated menu. Bought a dollar scissors from the market and cut the long menu DIAGONALLY to have the longest piece of laminated strip. I doubled it over, slipped it through the crack of the window and VIOLÁ!! Worked without having to call AAA or embarrass my mom. Nice.

just remember if you target a car with keyless entry try the door first if infact it is unlocked (youd be suprised how often that is the case) your golden if not try a quiet entry method (pry window and poke unlock button or pull door handle with bent rod) this works well on certain cars if that fails you can just drill a hole with a cordless drill in a certain part of the outer door skin then poke a rod (screw driver) up inside the door to hit the latch mechanism (takes about 30 seconds or less if your clued up) then you take your obd usb adapter and netbook (prebooted and ready to go with your software that "model specific") so you just pop your obd reader into the car and tell the car the program the blank key you have in your car thiefs bag. now you have a fully working immobilizer disabling key at your disposal that works just like the original and can even use the keyless entry with that car like you actually own it :D. WORKS A CHARM WITH RANGE ROVERS AND PORSCHE WITH KEY-LESS ENTRY or any car with keyless entry you just need the right blank key (cheap as chips "ebay") and the right software which anyone can acquire if they know where to look :P

You know you can use a shoe lace by making a slip not in the middle. Slide the lace though the top of the door until loop is around the pull up lock, tighten lace, and pull up. Don't take near as long :D

I didn't need the tool. I did the same exact thing with just a coat hanger.

wish i could share pic here how i unlocked my lancer which has lock with inside door open handle lol.. i mean i pulled keys from ignition somehow..

Most modern cars have central locking with no 'button' to unlock the door.
