If you have joined the UC Vanguard, you can use the pilot simulator to farm kills.

You don't have to finish the simulator. If you don't like UC just farm the test and leave when done.

Rince and repeat I got to piloting lvl 4 in less than an hour. Also if you can warp to a lvl 50-60 system and put it on very easy find a planet with abundent life go round killing any creature you see for easy XP and lvls

Another tip; If you steal a ship, beware there might be 2-5 "illegal" goods strewn throughout the ship that's easy to miss. Usually on top of desks with computers, and in the cockpits. If you enter a controlled system with them knowingly or not, you'll be arrested. If there is, pick em all up (easy to spot them with scanner, rectangle small cases) and fly to the Wolf system > The Den, dock with the station and sell them off to the trader there, then you'll be safe to enter UC controlled systems.

If I'm not mistaken, there's a starship training simulator on atlantis, and I think you get access to it through starting the UC quest chain. I have no idea how far in you need to be, or how easy it is getting access to it. But I know for a fact that every "kill" you get in the simulator counts towards all skill goals to do with either killing or locking onto ships and then killing them. I'm sure someone else can fill in the missing details. Ideally you'll get access to it early and don't have to jump around and wait on venus etc. Hope it helps.

yeah this is the fastest way to get "ship kills" for piloting level. It is the first test at UC Vanguard recruiting center and u can just take the test again and again to get better score and every kill is counted.

@@Easyflux Go to their headquarters and apply for UC citizenship. If I remember correctly, it's part of the early main game too.

I've noticed, when you take a ship. If you sit in the seat of the new ship, then press your character screen and click on Ship section. You can set this new ship as the home ship. If you do, it will then give you the option to register it. Do that and then run back to your main ship. Sit down in the cockpit and go back to the ship screen. Change the home ship back to your main ship and then undock. You should now have both of them without having to go to a system to register it.

@@Easyflux actually no, it's CHEAPER. shipyard is 80% of the value to register, doing it this way is 66%. probably a bug.

If you do the Vanguard missions just up until you get to the use the simulator, destroying ships in the simulator counts towards the challenges. it's cheaper to register a ship through the tab menu by a significant amount

The UC Vanguard pilot simulator is wicked easy. Just gives you waves of ships to kill and the ability to restart if you die. It’s even faster.

Hey its easier in the uc flight simulater to lvl up perk pilot. cuz there ist also a console to debuggin the program. U can also restart every time if you lose. 😊

If you do join the crimson fleet there's 2 merchants in there that have over 10k each a good place to sell amps but bad Time

or you dont do any of this and go to the MAST building in new altanis start quest for joining them and after the pilot simulator you can just keep farming that over and over again if you clear tier 6 it is 15ish ships a run

It is 30% cheaper to register the ship from you character menu. Press pause, go to the ship section, highlight the new ship then use the registration option

Or you can just make an outpost, make a mission board directly in front of where you're looking when you fast travel there and take the ship bounty missions. Often has multiple enemy ships. About 1-4 in the lvl 20s range missions.

If you are already in the Crimson fleet and kill pirates it will build a bounty on you that must be paid before you can use thier base again. The higher your bounty the more often bounty hunters will come for you.

It's all cool, but be aware that Your Stolen ship can disappear because of a Game breaking bug called "Ship Disappeared from existence" after registration. I have manage to "Borrow" the ship from pirates and after some time it just bugged, and I can't use it anymore and even fix the bug is impossible because it's tied to your current save file unless you manage to load the previous save where your ship isn't bugged yet. So the best and more or less reliable way is just buying a new ship and modifying for your liking. *By "Ship Disappeared from existence" I mean you can see it on your list and set it as A home Ship, but it will not appear on the landing pad at all. You will just see the marker directing you underground (like it just stuck under textures) where ship was.

My favoritship so far has 2 mobility and 130 max speed with 14000 cargo and weapons that can 2 shot hard mode pirate ships. I have dubbed her the big Mama. Also you actually can usually tell what class a ship is by the engines while your in targeting mode.

Don't think so, I think you only carry over your character, level and skills. No items, ships or credits. Maybe someone else can confirm, but I'm fairly certain.

No the NG+ Ship (Starborn Guardian) cannot be modified or upgraded via the ship vendor only way of upgrading the ship is by going through another NG+ run each run upgrades the Starborn Guardian until the 6th NG+ Run through which will give you the Starborn Guardian VI "6" that is the last upgrade for it.

This video is absolutely trash.... if you want a good ship. And stuff early. Then do the vangaurd missions on new Atlantis. The first mission with sara you can apply to the vanguard. They make you do a flight sim. All kills and combat ranks count in the sim. Kill, shields heals, weapon damage, etc. Just farm in there.... Now you can get class C ships. But vendors wont sell class C until futher in story. For a great early ship. Look up how to get the mantis. Then after that. Just upgrade the weapons. Particle. Laser. Missile. You can swap the laser or Missile for EM... Electro magnetic doesnt damage the hull. But disables ship so you can board without all the worries of killing it. But honestly screw stealing ships from combat.. visit moons. And steal ones that land. Super easy. I found a bunch of class B ships. And some C. Just register and sold them because upgraded mantis was nearly as good. Until i had 270k credit i bought the shieldbreaker on new Atlantis. Its a beast of a ship... i have a nice class c. But its nothing but a cargo ship basically. Im still super early in the game.(still on first story line missions with sarah) but have explored alot and done alot of side stuff.

This whole videos wrong...Join the UC and do simulator and you can do it way faster like hours faster which is the way they intended the game to be, also you said the ship builder platform has all the parts in the game, this isnt true at all, it offers alot more in one place then everyone else, but there are a lot of cabs, structural, ports, and hubs that only still come from there specific companies main buildings.... if you hadnt spent the whole game trying to make up fake exploites or copying other RU-vidrs that got there information wrong to, or making these misleading videos you might actually stumble across something thats actually right to post in your videos. 😂 whole videos a fail.
