For efficiency, I recommend bringing fiber too and putting down a sleeping bag instead of a bench. 1. you can interact with it directly as opposed to sitting, waiting on the animation, then waiting. 2. you get the well rested buff so you get an additional XP % earned by each craft. Cheers.

You can also use it to farm the "challenges" for the Fitness perk, which requires you to bring your O2 down to 0(and your CO2 to 100). So you take all of the mats from the containers until you're way overencumbered, you run around (probably for like 1s with all that weight) and then you get to crafting. By the time you're done, you probably have full o2 again, so you run some more. Then sleep, rinse and repeat.

No one ever seems to mention this in exp vids, but in the Well district in New Atlantis, you can get a recipe for a shepherd's pie that restores 15hp and gives 60 minutes of +2% exp gain. 1 red meat, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1 potato, and 1 spice. Remember .02 percent exp gain on 60000 a minute is an extra 1200 or an extra 72000 an hour.

Doesn't apply to crafting xp. At least the rested buff from sleeping doesn't. I seem to get 108xp for a stack of 99, with or without resting. Besides that how much xp could you make crafting these items in the time it would take you to gather all the materials needed to get an extra 2% xp. Doesn't seem like it would be worth it.

quick tip, when you view and modify ships if you press E to upgrade and then cancel out that also places your ship on the platform and you don't have to swap home ships (saves time and you don't have to open the doors of the ship again). Also if you use a bed instead of a bench to wait you eliminate the sitting/standing animations and get a 10%xp buff!

At my main outpost, when I land I teleport next to outpost building, and the ship is allways invisible, have to do this every time I want to fly off, kinda gets annoying after a while, anyone know how to fix this so that the ship is on the platform.

Another useful thing I found: if you set up a transfer container, all resources will funnel to a single point and you can just grab them from there instead of jumping around to each box!

To bad they broke it in the last update. Now you have to take what is in it, exit the interface, then re enter it to get another load, but it will only give you what is in its buffer. So fcking annoying, I hope they fix it soon.

Problem is if you have more than 4 res types on one location, then it will putmax 1-2 res types to the max storage level of transfer container, and you wont get all of them :(

@Kibbles Gaming Thanks for the guide yo. Helped me get into the base building pretty quick. Also, on PC anyways, no need to do the second and third base for leveling at all. I just scaled up the storage at the first base with the tier 3 storage containers. Then I set up a macro for crafting the Adaptive Frames. Now I just go to Venus, sleep for 24 hours, fast travel back to the outpost and in under a minute of crafting, BOOM, ~10 levels per session. Each session roughly taking 3 to 4 mins 🤘

Just a heads up for anyone following the video to a T, DO NO FORGET to create output links from the last neodymium box to the outgoing box of the inter system links! He forgot to mention that in the video, and although it may seem like the obvious thing to do, I overlooked that and was stuck for a little bit trying to figure out why my neodymium boxes weren't filling up lmao

Hey man, love your videos. Been watching since you started farming on starfield. Just a suggestion: when connecting storage units. Drop a respective unit in the middle of each collection/mining field, connect the miners to that one, then connect that one to your mass storage units. Less red connection lines and more visual satisfaction.

Thanks bro, perfect explanation. Went from level 11 to 104 on XBOX, used the key binding as you explained as well. For those wondering is on the Menu section on key binding. Realistically it took me about 6 hours, not as fast on XBOX, but it works. On the final area for the 60k XP now. Will be finishing up in a bit

Steps to increase gains: 1. Build the appropriate robots to speed the machines up by 10% 2. Sleep before crafting for bonus 10/15% xp 3. Optionally drink tea/use consumable for another couple % xp

PSA: You cannot die from o2 loss. It will keep you at near death health and the screen will blink red forever even if continuing to sprint the whole time. Just helpful for when your ship runs out of cargo you don't have to do a bunch of inventory management/trips to the Lodge to store in the infinite container. I've tested this with 30,000 in my inventory, zero difference. Just quicksave often on planets in case some random event happens and kills you (has never happened to me, super unlikely).

PSA: If you have outpost links of this magnitude, it can cause stuttering on your game, I was on the Series X and every time the outpost would transfer resources over its set interval, the game would seize up for 30 seconds. Its better if you go and grab the Neodymium yourself and take it over to the outpost where you're making your Gold and Zero Wire. Also be careful when building on the gold farm planet, if the weather in your biome spawn is a shitstorm then your shit will start exploding very quickly.

15:32 If you can build it the advanced wind turbines produce 14 power on this moon and are no more expensive than the solar arrays which on this moon only produce 4 energy. Its always a good idea to check as some times one method produces very little compared to the other, it just depends on where you are.

Could just set up copper, silver, gold and neodymium farms. Then use the copper and silver to make Zero Wires and get xp, then take the Zero wires you made and combine them with the gold and neo to make those conductors.

If you can’t upgrade your ship storage you can just empty you personal storage on the floor of your ship and it will stay there. Then just pick it up when you need it.

If you do this, save your game and change something on your ship. It'll supercede your max cargo and fill it anyways. I've had my ship over 10k cargo with only 6k max. I say save your game cause it sometimes doesn't transfer, you can reload and do it again.

I've just been dropping stuff on the ground near my Indy benches and it stays. Close the game out and open it up, it's still there. I've left stuff on the ground for hours. I don't think it goes away.

I think its' better to connect that cargo walls from 2nd floor (or even top), and make lowest row the last one. So if you need to grab resourses - you dont need to jump, you just collect them from 1-st floor, and they will move down the link and fill 1-st floor again.

Oh by the way not sure if it's been mentioned or not but place turrets around your outposts too. A couple of hours ago I waited 24 hours on a chair at my outpost and then I saw gunfire coming in my direction. A group of spacers were attacking my extractors and damaging them. So that's why your stuff was damaged, not wildlife lol

if you wanted to speed it up you can always fill your ship up with Neodymium and carry it to Zero Wire farm, takes the cargo links out of the equation and worth noting!

I cannot for the life of me find a spot with helium, copper, silver, and gold! Finding all 3 but silver in several locations. I definitely gave up after hours of trying and made a base with silver / lead and another with gold / copper. I named the outposts Copperfield’s Goldmine and Lead by Silver. Fun fun. My apologies if someone already commented this but with getting the ship on the landing pad, you don't have to do the home ship thing, you can just open ship builder and it will put it on the pad. I've noticed less of the ship bugging out when you do the ship builder instead of switching ships.

I had the invisible ship when doing this, and after that, textures all over the game wouldn't load. Restarting the game doesn't fix this.

Ty! Works so well! Fyi I had only one silver extractor and two gold extractors and it still worked fine! Though the large storage walls really made the game stutter a bunch on xbox series x.. pretty lame

You’re sleeping on 10% XP by not sleeping 1hr before crafting, the 2% XP usable items also helps. It does affect during crafting on 99 1XP Adaptive Frames you’ll get 111XP rather than 99XP. And of coarse it only gets better on the larger XP items.

another thing guys, dont worry if your inventory is full, even if you run out of o2 and you take damage, you dont die so you can keep running even with a 10k mas on your character. so dont combat any enimies on the ground cus you will die.

If you rest in your bed to get the exp bonus it will count to the exp gain aswell, doesn't seem to work if you make an individual component but if your making it in bulk you'll gain that 10-15% bonus. instead of the 297 exp per stack of 99 you'll get 326-342 exp respectfully, might not seem like much for pc players that are able to spam it quick but for the xbox players out there every little bit extra helps to compensate for the slower speed

You don’t need to set up the link thingys, you can just grab all the resources drop them in your ship and take it to one planet to craft everything. Anything you drop in your ship doesn’t despawn unless you change your ship or modify it.

might be old knowledge but if you need your ship on the pad you don't need to select another ship, just enter build mode on your current ship and exit and it will be right there. Slightly faster and may save sorting crew members out if they other ship you selected has less spots. Also can be handy to install one of those ship loaders I think the transfer container and access the resources from there.

You don't need cargo space. If you have 20000+ of an item, I just drop it in one of the storage rooms on my ship. It just drops a couple physical items you can move around, that represent thousands of items but don't affect cargo weight. I use one room on my ship that holds all the items I need for outpost building and another for stuff I want to sell. I just drop it on the floor and transfer as much as I want when I need cash. That way I'm not running around over encumbered when I don't want to be. Same thing at outposts, instead of warehouses I just drop a bulk of 1 item in the hubs and transfer what I need.

Xbox Binding changes @ 5:22 Settings > Bindings.....scroll down to 'MENU NAVIGATION' change bindings for 'Right' to (RT) and 'Next Tab' to (X) then scroll down further to 'SECURITY' and resolve the binding error by changing the binding for 'Cancel Pick' to (RB) Edit: You can use LT or RT for 'Right' binding, it makes no difference, imo. And hey presto!

The Neodynium part at 10 minutes and 30 seconds is unclear, I understand you connect the gas container chain to the rear box of your Trade Links, but do you also link your Neodynium chain to each one of the Outgoing boxes? Fantastic video by the way! Been working on this all day and having a blast just on the 20k ♥!

Thanks for these xp vids you've been making, much appreciated. I had question though regarding the setup. You create a lot more storage for the Neodymium, but I'm not understanding why. A Paramagnon Conductor requires 1 gold, 1 neodynmium and 1 zero wire (which is 1 copper and 1 silver). So as far as I can tell you'd want the same amount of storage for everything no? For the silver and copper I'm assuming it's because they get transformed into the zero wire which is the mega storage, but the gold and neodymium should be the same no?

you have to factor in the weight of the resource like for instance you can fit 6 aluminum in a large solid container but you can only fit 5 iron in the same container

I just realized on xbox that if you take those key rebinding for a controller and mash A and X, it will make somewhere between 10-25 frames instantly.

Maybe in the next 2 days there will be a 100k xp farm. The rarity of the materials go from common to exotic but not all rare materials give the same xp. Just my 2 cents

@@bullyingisnowlegal I upgraded the outpost engineering skill to max and the last rarity is unique. The highest xp you can get is 8xp.

The best XP farm for Xbox players due to not being able to spam craft that PC can is to craft the VYTINIUM FUEL ROD, be in a committed relationship to get +15% xp boost after sleeping, max your food and drink to make them 50% better in order to get +3% xp boost from consuming certain food & drink for a combined total of +18% xp boost, crafting 1 VYTINIUM FUEL ROD gives 11xp each, crafting 99 gives 1089xp each time, The grind to get the resources to craft the VYTINIUM FUEL ROD is time consuming but more than makes up for it in the long run.

In order to craft these at the Industrial Workbench you’ll need to have Rank 4 unlocked in Special Projects, the resources required to craft are Plutonium- Vytinium - the next two you’ll have to craft - Nuclear Fuel Rod - Indicite Wafer.

@@knownaskingg2455 unfortunately the higher level you get, it requires so much more xp each level, currently I’m level 134 and to level up one more level using the frames would take literal hours of spamming craft and waiting to regenerate the recourses at the outposts to craft over and over, hence why I stated that it’s time consuming but absolutely worth it at levels higher than 100 due to the increase in xp needed to level up so still best to go after the vytinium rods. 1089XP every 99 crafted is the best way to level up on console.

Still cannot find a patch on Lantana with the 4 resources you mentioned unless 1-2 of them are like a sliver that you might be able to get 2 extractors on. I've kinda just took a break and went on to actually questing, but I still go back every now and then just to see if i get lucky since they are apparently random seeds. Curious, how much more effective are the upgraded extractors? if I find a spot that doesn't have very large patches, would the upgraded extractors benefit and make up for it?

He could save viewers a lot of time by summarizing at the start. Like, "this method involves spam-ceafting thousands of X per minute, and I'm going to show you how to do that." That way, if you already understand the game ststems but didn't know that X was worth so much, then you don't need to wait 30 minutes to find out.

@@davidlasslett9879 3 Skills Trees with 16 skills and 2 with 17 skills, remove the 3 free points you get from the starting class you chose, and 1 additional point for the free point from the Ryujin Industries storyling, leaves you needing 324 skill points in order to max every skill.

there other industrial workbench items you can craft 1xp-11xp depends on the item one vytinium fuel rod gives 11xp each and with the rest xp do work if you craft more than one item

Sadly I can not fit a landing pad on my base but I do have 4 resource veins. Iron, Aluminum, Helium, Berylium very close to eachother.

I just wanna add that theres a bug currently with either dropping things or carrying things somewhere, then dropping them. Depending on the place, the stack of items gets tagged as stolen, which is, needless to say, a freaking nightmare. I've done this multiple times, where I carried a giant stack of frames using the crosshairs, into a venus colony, only to drop it at a vendors feet thinking i could sell it, but as soon as i dropped it, it got the stolen tag. I was pretty pissed. I don't know why this happened. It could be because I walked all the way from my ship to the colony with the stack on my crosshairs, and then the game flagged it as I crossed into the colony boundary. I'm not sure. I've done this before in new atlantis though and it didnt get tagged as stolen in the mercantile store, but it did close to the trade authority store, with the two guards posted by the door. I didn't know you can't die from being encumbered though. Ill just take the damage from now on lol
