In this video, I'll show you how to unlock the digital display in the instrument cluster on the Ford Fiesta MK5. Unlocking the display will allow you to access information and driving data such as:
- See what bulbs are working
- DTC's (fault codes)
- Speed (mph & kph)
- Tachometer (engines RPM)
- Fuel Level (not sure if it's miles or kilometres)
- Battery Voltage
The rest I'm not too sure what they are. Once you get into the unlocked display, you won't loose your cars mileage, but you will loose the trip mileage. After you turn the ignition or engine off, the next time you start up the car, the instrument cluster will go back to normal, showing the trip mileage and the engines current mileage as before.
