I started to read the Book Ego is your enemy. There is a hole chapter about don`t be passionate rather have a purpose, direction and reason. Passion is like motivation full of emotion, that can be outer control or get lost by the first obstacle. To reach your goals it has to be linkt with purpose and reason. Purpose in that sense that it is bigger than you. Its not about you anymore but your purpose for that you have to make sacrifices. So your reasons put your Ego down and your purpose gets above. Its not just about you anymore but your Purpose and direction. You will see in history that big leaders, Prophets etc. they all willing to die for their reasons and purpose its becomes bigger than them. Pain and suffering are in this case one of the main factor that shows you are for real and not playing. Otherwise it is just fake and you just talking. That why people respect and fear those mens. And people find this 100% attractiv because it is a core masculine trait to sacrifices for a higher purpose, but this is just a by product not the main reason why you do it, because then it is about your ego again. Contribute to humanity and dont think humanity owes you something.

i’ve been struggling in my life, i’ve been doing bad in school. My bad grades have been holding me back in my sport and my friends are always picking on me to get a reaction. I’m immature and my parents are disappointed in me. I yell at my mom and i am not the man i should be growing up to be. I have a short temper and im lazy and erratic. I have good traits, i am still kind to everyone who doesn’t try to get a reaction out of me and im a well liked person but im not successful. I’m going to be more mindful, im going to work harder, im going to get smarter and stronger day by day by taking my time and thinking before i act. I’m going to be more calm and collected and be successful in every aspect of my life.

Can you tell more in a video about your meditation? The way I learned it, is focusing on your breath and let the thoughts come and go. The way you talk about meditation sounds more like 'reflection' and deep thoughts about yourself. How does that look like with meditation?
