I have a very early 878 D878uv Hardware version 1.0 Firmware version 1.06 Radio Data ver 1.00 Last Pro Date 29-09-2018 Can the above mentioned radio be updated to the newest ver without incremental update? Need help please.

D878UV Programming Software & Firmware Updating General notes on firmware upgrading: Firmware updates do not need to be applied in order. You can skip right to the latest working firmware update. Normally each firmware update will also include a new version of programming software. All radios shipped will have the latest updates installed that were available on the date of shipping.

Stay with 3.01. 3.02 and 3.03 randomly mutes the audio on DMR. You'll see the contact on screen, and get the blue light, just no audio until the next transmission.
