I came across the installation video first and went right to there site to buy. The only thing that slowed me down was China shipping... then I seen your screen issue. Seeing that it's been 3 more weeks...would you recommend this unit after all that you have experienced?
I tried to update my rkpx3 Tesla model vertical Android radio unit. Used an 8 GB USB drive formatted in FAT32, with file "update.img". I tried many times with different USB drives and different file names. The system is not detecting and showing any prompt for the update. I don't know what's wrong.
I believe it depends on your manufacturer and how they deliver the update. Some keep apps and settings, others full wipe. Personally I prefer the full wipe so nothing that can cause issues is left behind.
I bought this audio system for my Chevrolet Cruze. And I have a question, how do I initialize the audio system because I haven't used the car for two days, the audio system is trying to load and all the time the operation repeats itself and the Android system is stuck.
Try unplugging your negative battery cable for about 30 minutes. Before you reconnect it, be sure there is nothing plugged in to the unit. No USB, no charging cables, nothing. Then when you reconnect the negative cable try cranking your vehicle and let it run while the device boots. That should get you going.
Hi donny, What firmware are you running? Kinda new at all this. I have the same style radio in my tundra but l like the layout on your screen better than what was sent to me.
Actually just unplugging it for a minute did the trick. So glad it didn't die! More videos to come on this then I'll switch over to the dasaita unit and see how it does.

The only way I know to tell is to contact the manufacturer and see if they have any updates. That doesn't look like a px3 or px6 chipset so that is probably your only option.
Unfortunately it does ot turn on the heated seats with remote start as stock. If you were to run a custom firmware that had root there are ways you could make it work though.

That is because every manufacturer has their own firmware and ways to obtain it. Phoenix you have to contact support and pray they will send it to you. I just did this video as a what to do once you get it because they provide near zero support on how to install it once you do get it.

There is a Facebook group for the tesla style units and we have a share on there with all the updates. Or if you have the custom firmware from Sergey he sends you a link to download the latest updates directly. I can get the link to that group if you need it.
